I dunno, there are a lot of ways to pull this. Examples include:

- Allenby
- Zero System
- Druggies
- Red Minovsky Poisoning
- Personality Shift (Gunpla Builders)
- Mucell

I think it could probably be emulated via someone hacking into the battle system and getting speed hax or something.

I think maybe they'll just stick to 'newtypes' as a trope and give some kids and the hero some kind of ability to achieve 400% pilot/gundam synchro rate, as an example.

I find it odd for something like this, the main "Gundam is piloted by someone other than the builder.

Seems like there might be some future conflict between the Pilot and the Builder.

No, this feels WAY different than a Gundam's Pilot and its Mechanic........

That Red Frame Astray Gundam looks a lot like Reborns Gundam. Also, Beargguy 3 but no 2? Why?

Still looks adorable as hell though.
