Though I wonder if you'd approve of a TD that can beat IS.

Well I guess Honne would. Funny part is that Gentarou screams from inside the locker that he's not a pervert.

Well, Sync level deteriorates once you hit 20-ish... and unlike TD which use neurohelmet to assist manual console, IS are 100% controlled by Neurohelmet.

In fact, what made them different is the core cockpit (which houses the computer and power source), nobody wanted to tamper with it anymore after such attempt result in entire lab destroyed. Of course, male above 20 also has their performance in piloting TD deteriorates... this resulted in child soldiers galore, and even existence such as Laura & co, as well as aforementioned gender discrepancy

There ARE a case of Custom TD unit beating IS to the curb, but that's because the sheer difference in piloting ability, otherwise everything is played straight, they are on the same side anyway (most of the time)

Most girl will say otherwise until convinced though.

Anime rule of the universe: children make better pilots for neural weaponry due to adaptible physical make-up compared to adults.

Reality: This is only slightly true and those who are qualified to pilot such a machine would probably have the same probability as a full adult.

@ Senpai - On the scale, how anti-heroic is it when a hero doesn't hesitate to injure and permanently cripple opponents or do things that possibly lead to their death?

Exactly, it's also played back and forth. Said incident of Prototype TD beat IS? Chifuyu did it, 24 years, retired. Though after 25, even Chifuyu claim it's simply hopeless.

Also, outside of war machine, 15 years old still would be 15 years old. No "Taking out special force" bullshit here.

Somewhere around III or IV, possibly veer into V if he's being an ass about it.

As part of the sibling Yin-Yang between Saito and Aria (Kanzashi's kids) I planned to show how differently they handle situations when they're teens. Aria's a straight hero who can solve every problem with her skill and Charisma (Like her Aunt) while Saito uses Mcgyvering and manipulation to get results (Doesn't have help due to not being chosen as successor as the new successor).

At the same time, Aria is haughty and somewhat overtly prideful and only helps when she's told to while Saito has minor Chronic hero syndrome and gets injured frequently due to never refusing someone's plea for help.

Does it still count as Type IV?

Well, he's married to Kanzashi in Dark Future, so he's taken levels in badass to compensate for it

Unfortunately, that doesn't help stop Saito from going behind his and Kanzashi's back to do dangerous work. Getting nearly killed over stopping a serial rapist is one of the smaller things.
