There's no age regression magic, that Succubus Eye mage already explained, his magic is to lower the opponents magic, the appearance is just a side effects.

I think many people are expecting Ultear because of what the author did with a very similar situation in Rave Master. If I remember right one of the characters sacrificed himself and grew old and was supposedly out of the story it was a nice seen... then a few chapters later he comes back and saves the day, he got better I guess.

Hnnn, I think you're thinking about Let performing that suicidal move to defeat Jegan. Not only does he save his girl, but he lives as well - definitely a 'earn your happy ending' moment. Seig Hart died in that one, and the Four Knights of the Blue Sky also died respectively. Shiba took a potion to become young again but he died as well - that hit right in the feels, especially when he realized who ELIE was....

For some reason, being young and small have some advantages, and Hiro Mashima is tackling it now, I'm expecting Ultear planted some magic seal of some sort that diminishes over time when Gray gets older, so this magic seal might come in handy in protecting Gray at the same time defeat the enemy as well.

Okaay...more or less, that's what it can boil down to.

Ultear and Gray have a pretty unique bond with each other - sure it's not a long-standing bond but it's still there. Ultear is an indirect link to Ur. He has feelings for her not unlike a brother/sister deal.

I know it's been a while, but regarding the next chapter title, I think it means the demon Gray is fighting is named Doriate. So rather than "The Demon's Doriate", it would be more like "The Demon Doriate" or "Doriate the Demon".

Also, I'd think it's safe to say the demon will lose soon, or at least lift his age spell, so we can finally (possibly) get a fair MinErza fight.

It's little things like stealing her opponent's dress to make herself one is what makes her so awesome. Now that she's back to adult size, things should turn around but Minerva says she has a counter to her GodHax armor. How do you counter something that can defy magical physics...?

And Gray was right the first time...let's see if he can overcome his trauma from Deliora. But this means we might get a few more shots of Ul and/or Ultear... Looking forward to THAT

So she has a counter for the magic hax armor? That leaves about 199+ armors to go-v-. Don't overhype a brat, you'll just end up disappointed.

You know what, that actually hit me too...was totally expecting pure black, just because. Still, awesome chapter this time around!

Gray's fighting style is always fun and Erza's...big moment was awkward but well timed! Looking forward to her giving Minerva a beating, although I'm surprised she tried to lecture her...give evil characters a chance and they'll screw you over! Just look at Starscream

She certainly took being patsu-less in front of an opponent rather well. Probably because it was a female - Mavis knows what will happen if Natsu fell onto that particular scene.

As for Minerva's choice of underwear - surprisingly innocent to say the least.

If she pulls what Makarov did to Jose (the Fairy Tail count), that would be ten kinds of awesome. I'm still upset that the anime didn't animate him doing it in Titan form. ><
