Imagine the gradient goes on, but the clouds suddenly end that would look strange right? You could blend out the clouds at the left/right border, but better would be a setting where the clouds end naturally before the borders. Do you have cloudy pictures where the clouds end this way?

How about that then ???? I did try to fix the internal "translucent" stuff by drawing on it again, and I tried to make the contrast less

Might have to fix the edges again later

Definitely looks better with these colors, but overall i have to admit you have picked a very difficult material to work with, and it does not have that much of a "sky" feeling.

Like i said in your den thread - i love how his cloak mixes with the clouds, but the font feels too attention-grabbing. Decrease opacity or work your magic to make it less intrusive in some other way, and it will be a very nice one indeed

1) The sky was put up in a hurry to compare to the other ones gomenasai!!

4)Well it is supposed to be an angel in the sky, but I guess I failed there

Thanks for the comments Klash, and this probably my last update with this one, if it is still not "skyish" enough then I probably will drop it all together

the render is really bad :/ i think you would be better off just using a different ayu picture tbh...if you look at the sides they are pink and the colours are dull >.<



any batter or should i just change the font? O.O

Better, and don't you dare touch the "AnimeSuki" font - it fits Kamina perfectly (Though you might want to try losing the purple outline). Not too sure about the "forums" part (not sure whether it is suitable for "sky" theme), but it is ok i guess ...

Ok, I may be bitc**** here but, the main goal is of course to create an image that can hold it's own while it can compliment the background/foreground, but it seems that most people are using images that can already work will with the sky template, while some are using obscure images that can't or don't really work with it but yet somehow amazingly enough, it can. Are we lost in originality, or they just work too well, that it's not necessary?

Shana- very amazing rendering of the text ^_^ (And yes, even I think the Hourglass of Summer one is better)

Same. I feel so lost that my photoshopping skills are no where near the other users.
