HOLEE CRAP. Kirito actually got twice of Touma's votes. Guess Touma didn't break Kirito's illusions hard enough.

In fact, there's no actual need for Index III for Touma. Railgun S might be enough if they do it properly.
What we need from Index III is to boost the other main characters and important secondary characters. Let's say if Acqua, Itsuwa and Takitsubou get important roles/apparitions in NT while Index III is airing ... then, it's gonna be a total curbstomp, oh yeah

Ideally have Railgun in the spring would be nice for a Fall 2014 Index3.

Even better is we cut Railgun down to 1 cour to save up for a 3 cour Index3 to finish everything in one go...But even I know that's a big wish.

Then it's a side story, not 'non-canon'.

Though given how the whole of Index is made up of individual incidents that adds up in the end, it's still questionable how involved it will eventually be.

The movie is in timeline after vol 08 but before 09 and also the storyboard was written but Kamachi and also a game to back up the first part of the movie. You could say its another story of its own. And we know Touma is so busy with his life that even if its not written in the novel he is probably saving the world as we speak.

If Kamachi wanted to, he could write side stories where Touma saves the world between each volume, when he makes dinner for Index, when he dodges Biri Biri's biri biri or even when he goes to the convenience store.

There is no upper limit for him, and even if there is, Imagine Breaker says hello.
