saturation control on mac
In quicktime pro, you are able to control various aspects of a video file, such as color intensity (saturation). My question: is there a way to increase the saturation while playing a file in the mplayer for macs? I read somewhere that if you press 7/8 while in mplayer, you can decrease/increase saturation, but it didn't work when I tried. Any ideas?

The 7/8 keys will only work if you are using a specific video output driver (as the manpage says), and I'm not sure what mac's use but I'm guessing that build isn't using it.
Rather you can specifically use the -saturation command, which has values ranges from -100 to 100. I know there is some option to select what parameters are used when opening MPlayer on Mac, I saw TheFluff show someone once, but I have no idea where that is . When in doubt read the manpage! |
