Not both; I was just saying if I didn't care about one of them. Hence why I put the "(or Jmoe)" without the "too". While it's a personal thing, it's somewhat common. No one wants to look through a stack of hay to find their needle, and without any ways to remove the "hay" either

That was actually an example of the Issue....

Wait, so we can't participate in the nomination rounds unless we're 2chan members?

I'd say seperate threads. If only so I have something to switch back and forth from rather than just refreshing the page every post.

More like it isn't worth the effort, right?

correct.

as long as a girl (female character) gets 1 vote they are nominated. No real point in paying attention to the nomination rounds.

I don't think there's such thing as 2ch members. As long as you can understand Japanese language, you can go to 2ch forums and join the nomination too.

But it is just like what 2 posts above me said.Unless the girl you want to nominate is a girl that 99.9% no one will notice (invisible girl...super maximum atomic size chibi girl) then you can go to 2ch and nominate for her.2ch forumers are pretty aggressives in nominating i must say, coz they won't miss or let go any girls that they can nominate for the tournament, even if the girl only appear for 1 second inside the anime

Correction of the schedule, again:

6/23 "ア" column
6/24 "カ" column
6/25 "サ" column
6/26 "タ" and "ナ" column
6/27 "ハ" column
6/28 "マ", "ヤ", "ラ" and "ワ" column
6/29~6/30 break(2 days)
7/01~7/02 additional nomination(2 days)
7/03 break
7/04 drawing for the first preliminary

Separate(11): KaneDragon, Xellos-_^, EternalNite, Eater of All, Deathkillz, KholdStare, z3phyr.mp3, WarriorKK, Daniel E., Kimura sensei, Ithekro

Unified(5): wontaek, minhtam2448, OceanBlue, DragoonKain3, Ice Block

Considering the result quoted above, I will open a thread for "Anime Saimoe Tournament 2008" today or tomorrow. Two threads which are specified for each tournament make discussions for each tournament clear and are kind for noobs. A unified thread will be too big to read and search. Furthermore, mods don't care to open separate threads for each tournament this year. A thread for "Best Moe Tournament" should be opened by wontaek.

Any other opinion?
If it's ok for everyone to voice opinion, then my opinion is to have separate threads.

EDIT: In case it's not posted yet, this seems to be a video for Saimoe 2008.

that is early, last years video didn't come out till after the prelim rounds.

and just in time for Slayers in July, they are using a remix of the Try op.

Found a great StrikerS Saimoe video.
Edit: Ando, Kinny, anyone got a link to a better copy?

Please name it "Anime Saimoe Tournament of Japan 2008"

Actually, the video was posted in the ISML thread quite a while back - first week of May.

Good Nanoha vid, it's time for the factions to rise once again.

@Fynal Fyre

Thanks, though actually it's my friend who found it.
Just shared it here in case there's some who haven't seen it yet.

I don't argree. That sounds like "only for Japanese".
What happen if I call your ISLM -> "International Saimoe League for American 2008"?
There is no reason to name like that, right?

I don't know... but I am kind of getting slightly tired of hearing Saimoe referring to Japan's tournament and Japan's tournament only. Especially with the many contests around that we have now.

I think he asked for "Japan" to be placed in the name to denote that it is J-saimoe.. so people won't confuse that thread for the K-saimoe thread. A simple and logical enough request.

If so, we can name it's "Anime Saimoe Tournament 2008 (Japan)".
Drop "for" >_>
