throughout the process of tracing i have always thought the left hand looked weird... but i can't quite get what was wrong with it... i even tried doing the left hand and i thought that it was ok...
i tried flipping the hand and it looks much better...
thanks for the heads up...
all i have to do now is fill in the spaces left by the hand and vinegar in their previous positions...

2 More episodes to go till Lucky Star ends. Here is the final Lucky Star icons from me(109 icons). The previous are also included in them. But this time i sorted them by name. Made some minor changes to some of the icons i posted before. The lucky star icons work for Windows XP, and Vista.

Not to many from Miyuki and Kagami/tsukasa mother. But i just didn't had more images or screencaps of them.

Click on the image to download the icons.

Kagami

Miyuki

Tsukasa

Akira

Yutaka

Minami

Kanata

Adults/Parents

Misc: School friends

I will also post a video tutorial about how to make icons like these. I will post it in my thread and the tutorial topic in the fan creation section at end of this week. So if someone is interesting just visit the tutorial section or my thread in the fan creation section at end of this week.

Video tutorial can be found here

Enjoy.

They are done different than how you did it. A icon takes about 3-5min to make the way i do it. Just check the video tutorial i will post at end of this week. You can check from start till end how i make them ^.^

@Sephi:

Ooh, thanks. It must've been a lot of work to make all of these, so kudos to you. I'll download them and keep'em in a special place if I ever want to customize my desktop a bit

What boredom does to you eh.

Spoiler:

I want to explore the concept of the sketch on the left a bit more, and, obviously, make a better drawing out of it. Kanata on the right just came out of the blue. And it looks better on paper than on screen, since 20% of my strokes don't show up after being scanned... time to replace this crap.

In the meanwhile... Here's how the vector is doing. I'm not proficient with the Pen tool ( read: I can't use it ), so I'm doing it old-style. Hopefully I'll do an acceptable job.

If you're not using the pen tool, are you sure what you're doing isn't a raster, rather than a vector? Or are you using the line or polygonal shape tool somehow to do that?

Well, now that you mention it, it's probably not a vector in full. The outline was done in Illustrator, whereas I'm doing the coloring in the old-style bucket + brush tool combo. I'd probably be better off spending 20 minutes to learn how to use the pen tool properly, but I have no will to learn anything when I'm sick. I'll see how it goes. If it's not good, I'll do it again.

Tsukasa-chan ought to be blushing, given her personality, she isn't one to simply reveal her shoulders. Even if she is under the influence of alcohol, er, I mean balsamic vinegar, she should still be blushing. Besides, it'll make her even more moe.

The blushing works like this because you didnt blur any of the other shadows, so it doesn't stand out and fits well with the rest of the trace.

My only real jab at it would be the skin color ( a bit too dark), of course this is a matter of personal preference and not a real problem with your work.

And......... is that your name that I see on the bottle!?
