I wonder why she insists getting the diary to get her true feelings before she had already made sure that she is the real Heroine in that world?

Is she trying to be a replacement for her?

I guess she is probably going to move to another world before getting the diary in next episode.

Toma was being way overprotective.
Shin confronted Toma about keeping her to himself.
Well, think it was about time guys started to react.
Wow, didn't think Toma was a creepy kind.
So those mean girls are actually Ikki's fans.
I'm glad she managed to escape from him.

Figures the heroine would try to rationalize his actions and not think badly of him. It's a miracle how she didn't get killed by the car this time. Hope we get more of Ukyou.

I also was surprised the first time I saw that poll of characters, especially Touma's popularity. There is a theory that the game players were expecting that kind of character when they bought the game.

Until now I have thought that the time gave each guy was based according to his popularity among players. I hope Ukyo is exempt from this situation (or he would have less time than Shin), since his story is very important and he is very interesting.

PS: I wonder what the character's popularity among fans of the anime.

I have a theory that the Heroine's true personality is actually Orion. In-fact, the Heroine behaves so much like a limp puppet that I must indeed conclude that she is an almost soul-less shell, with Orion representing her disembodied will and personality. Which is why she has none at all. It's all with Orion. Without Orion, the heroine is devoid of much of her impetus and will - with Orion, the Heroine becomes able to act pro-actively.

Indeed, she may well also be the personification of a VN Reader, doomed to follow the script except at certain points where choices can be made.

^^ I like your theory, novalysis. If it comes true, it would go a long way in making me forgive the MC's annoying lack of personality and indecisiveness. If her essence has been split into 2 beings, then her not-a-whole person behavior becomes understandable.

There's still Ukyo's route and I don't care that Toma is the most popular character in Japan. The Heroine could have escaped if she wanted, she could have tried to run away each time he opened the cage (there's still the possibility of failing but at least it's worth trying). By the way, how did she do it at the end of the episode? I get that he wanted to protect her and not having her memories isn't an excuse for not getting mad at Toma for drugging her and putting her in a cage... Next episode we'll know the contents of the diary and my hope is that Toma's route finishes at the start or the middle. __________________

He took advantage of the situation and lied to her. Then to protect her from Ikki's fans, he first drugged her so that she'd sleep all the time and then decided to put her inside a cage. I hated how Orion and the Heroine tried to rationalize and excuse his actions. I expected as much from a doormat like the heroine, but not Orion. You disappoint me, man. It should be clear Touma is a disturbed individual. MC should have called the freaking cops as soon as she got out. Knowing Touma is the most popular character in Amnesia gives me mixed feelings. Do girls really like that kind of guy? __________________
