@kron:

4 pages of development between those characters is a huge change of pace from the normal, calm story ARIA has.

Actually, yeah. I'd wanna live my retirement there, not live there now.

I was planning on a trip to Italy but it fell through due to compulsive spending. I was planning on hitting venice but all the tour places said the same thing about gondolas. "It's not worth the experience anymore."

Maybe I could train to be an undine. I remember seeing male employees walking around at some point.

I think one of the only ways i'd learn to be a Undine is if i could join Aria Company. ^^;

Though all jokes aside, i could see it being a good job, nice & relaxing.

Hi. This is Dragnfly coming to you live. I'm here on animesuki to interview Maids! Maids! Maids!, who just recently won the entire internet.

Seriously though, that pic is awesome. I so need to traumatize my friends.

Hey. Not to be a jerk but come to think of it this would go really well with my curren5t sig. Mind if I make it my avatar?

Thanks a toin, Maids. I'll take good care of her. In the worst case scenario her and Dark Nanoha will fight a never-ending yet glorious battle.

I think being an undine would be good for her. She always seems so bored but if she can learn to enjoy the natural beauty of Neo Venezia then maybe she'll take life a little less seriously.

Heck, with the name Ai it even fits the naming scheme

I can just see it now. Athena gets promoted and gets a different room (well, that's another story all together) so Alice ends up sharing a room with the new recruit. She reminds Alice so much of her prior self. So Alice makes it her mission to bring a smile to the new recruit's face.

Alice: Ai. These are my friends. Aika, Athene, Akira, Akari and Alicia. We're going to teach you how to be a great undine.
All: Pleased to meet you.
Ai: I am Enma Ai. I will ferry your hatred to hell.
Alicia: My my my.

Oh God. Oh dear God.

Awesome crossover... but the thought is terrifying.

The 20 or so second bit at the beginning of each episode (the one that has the Aria-shachou montage) is mysteriously missing in all the raws of episode 2 I've gotten so far. I wonder if they're getting rid of it, or if it was just not included in the TV Tokyo airing this week for whatever reason...

I think that she'd creep me out if she ferried me through the canals of Neo Venicia. If she had me on her ferry to hell, I'd just be more freaked out by seeing that cute outfit in such an inappropriate setting.

I wonder if any logos or designs on her undine uniform would start floating around and stuff like the flowers on her kimono do.

I feel the need to post merely to bring some cuteness into this rather disturbing turn of events. Cast your eyes leftward in an attempt to block out Hell-Undine

I think watching episode 2 would suffice for this purpose as well. =p

When I compared the runtimes between the two episodes, I noted they were identical, suggesting that nothing was removed from the broadcast. Looks like the pre-show montage is simply gone. I suppose that, along with the vastly shortened next episode preview, this was done to extend the amount of available screentime in the episode itself.

Kind of mixed news. On one hand, it's great that there's more time for the actual episode, but I liked the begining montage too... Well, at least the first two episodes of the natural were adaptations of my favorite parts of the manga. It was really a pleasure to see them animated.

Episode 2.

Not much to comment on, except that it was more of the ARIA loveliness we're all used to. Cute as hell episode with adorable atmosphere.... which almost goes without saying for ARIA.

Hmm, thought I'd commented on ep1 already, turns out it was on the sub group i'm following's forums, not here

Oh, and Casanova's mask is kinda scary heh.
