They need to animate it all and speed it up while they are at it. 2 cours at a time ftw. Lots of funny stuff to see plenty of nice OVAs. Part of what makes the LNs awsome to me is imagining them animated.

Unless they decide it is popular enough for 24 episodes this time, it will most likely just be volumes 5 and 6

About time that season 3 of DxD got announced

.

Ideally, considering how many novels are out there, I'd want season 3 to be a 2-cour just so that the anime can go through and animate a lot of the material...but it's likely just going to be adapting the next 2 novels with hopefully some side-stories animated as well, which I can live with

.

I'll definitely be looking forward to the return of Issei and some great fanservice and harem antics in season 3

As much as everyone wants to, TNK is a small studio. So it can only produce 1-cour. T-T
