There are so many movies, TV shows, books (novels, comics, classics), video games, music, and other forms of entertainment, good and bad, that are worth looking at/experiencing, but is there enough time in the human life for all of it?

Of course, there's not enough time for everything. For everything you pick and choose, there's always something that you don't pick and miss out on. So, all these things are a matter of preference.

On top of that, y'gotta work and do stuff that y'might not want to do, but still have to.

Human is all about entertainement, but to entertain himself he needs to work, in the end, he works more he entertains himself.

So, no, there's not enough time, that's why you choose, every time you end up regretting, but whaever, that's what living is about.

I'm not sure.. I remember in some instances I when at home and no work:

1. Play VNs while still log in Animesuki.
2. Watch anime while log in Animesuki.
3. Listen to music while log in Animesuki.
3. Watch an anime while playing a VN and log in Animesuki.
4. Listen to music while playing a VN and still log in Animesuki.
5. Play RTW while playing music and still log in Animesuki.
6. Read mangas and doujinshi while listening to music but still log in Animesuki.

..the possibilities are endless...

it is never ending, even if you do most of the stuff managing along with your daily work, there will always be more stuff do if you search, and in the future more and more stuff will be created

I know there isn't enough time, and it depresses me sometimes. Still, I like to imagine that someone will make it possible, like being able to see movies while you dream or something crazy like that.

When we learn how to digitize our thinking patterns/memories, allowing us to replicate at will over a broad spectrum of media, and after the modern world creates a more rigid control structure to keep the third world permanently enslaved to serve as the labor pool to fuel this new society that would occur when we are able to unshackle ourselves from mortality, then you might find enough time to do "everything", or at least all the things you could want before you grew so bored you just commit suicide.

Until then, the answer is no.

What is good or bad, what is quality or crap, it's all subjective. That's why I said "worth looking at/experiencing" as even supposedly bad media has or can inspire something good, like MST3K.

Actually, I am happy with two forms of media - books and music.

Especially books. I lose my temper if someone disturbs me when I am reading. Considering the lack of non-fiction books being written nowadays about discoveries instead of opinions, there isn't much to read.

The subjectivity raises another interesting point. You may appreciate something at one point in your life, or after having experienced another form of entertainment, but how do you know what is optimal to view and when? Since we have limited time and want to optimize it, how can you know what you'll enjoy the most, given what you've most recently experienced?

Aside from going off of your own intuition and the advice of others, you can't. I don't think there's a point in trying. The best thing to do is to focus on yourself and enjoy each day as much as possible (even the moments that aren't necessarily pleasant). Don't dwell on what you can't see or do, but focus on what you can.

To be honest it does not really matter to me whether or no there is enough time to enjoy it "all". Why not just begin to do so as best you can in accordance with the circumstances and the like you find yourself in and make a real beginning of sorts instead of worrying about it?
