excuse me Black_wolf Will you marry me? I must obey the will of anyone who brings the glory that is Shagnum. And the Omake was great. It reminded me of this doujin I read where Vivio drew a picture of her mommies alone time.
Really I'd think Hayate would be wondering why she wasn't invited.
I am a wild wolf that stalks the highest mountain peaks, hunts in the lushest vallies. Howling at the full moon as the alpha wolf. I cannot be tamed! XD
(Until morphs into human form and gets ordered around by a certain five year old...... )
LOL TSS. Thanks for the praise, means alot.

Here is something I wrote in about five minutes... don't know if it's any good though.
Spoiler for Nanoha poetry:
I’m leaving on a journey, don’t cry. I know you want me to stay but I can’t Nanoha.
Lean against my shoulder I promise to stand still. I’m not leaving not yet,
I’ll be with you for another few moments.
You embrace me, you caress me, you are begging me to stay. I can hear your heart
screaming; Please, please stay with me Fate!
You told me I had to become strong and whole again. Can’t you see I can’t take it anymore.
My body aches, I’m so tired. Please don’t let me run anymore.
I long to close my eyes and just fall asleep. My head feels so heavy.
They are here now to pick me up, I’m not scared so please don’t cry.
I’m not disappearing I’m just leaving on a journey. I don’t know where I’ll end up,
will it be heaven or will it be hell? And no you can’t come with me.
I do know I’ll be able to rest there, maybe even on a flower field.
So please don’t cry, please Nanoha.
But do remember when you feel the wind, the soft varm summer wind, the wind that
blows over the path in the forest where we first made love.
-This is the wind sent from me, a soft caress against your cheek.
Then you’ll know, as long as you let the wind blow around you I’ll be with you forever…
The storm broke later than the weather reports predicted, closer to midnight than nine thirty at night, and far too late for Vivio to be staying up. Nanoha had tried to argue that just this once, Vivio should be allowed to stay up and enjoy this rare phenomenon. Fate had said no, however, taking the more authoritative role in the parenting much to Nanoha's surprise. Vivio did have school in the morning, Fate reasoned, and she rather did not want to share the moment with anyone but Nanoha when the clouds finally unleashed their clearly heavy loads. This was a special moment for the two of them, something that they'd kept between themselves for years after their friendship circle had expanded to include everyone they now held dear. Fate wanted the moment to reminisce and be at peace with Nanoha. She wanted it more than she knew how to explain it to Nanoha with words.
She spent the evening watching the sky though the kitchen window, sitting amongst the placemats that Vivio had made last year at school reading through reports and trying not to appear all that excited. A storm and she got to see it break with Nanoha. This was a rare treat.
Fate was alone in the kitchen and she closed her eyes, taking advantage on Nanoha's running to the bathroom to let her consciousness drift up into the clouds. She was an elemental mage, and they were rare enough as it was, but the skill to track her element, especially one as fickle as lightning, had always come easily to Fate.
The storm would break in half an hour. It was still moving into position, and the two layers of atmospheric pressure were just starting to create the flickers of lighting within the clouds, but nothing strong enough to break free.
They should go up to the roof soon.
Fate looked over to the blanket that Nanoha had set by the door and smiled. This meant a lot to her too, Fate could tell. They hadn't had a moment like this in so long, just the two of them. Vivio had been asleep for two hours, and if she was going to wake up again tonight, it would be much later. It was too early for nightmares.
"Nanoha?" Fate called. She could hear water running in the bathroom and soon the sound of a door closing.
"Yes?" The brunette walked in the room carrying the bathroom towels and brushing past Fate to deposit them in the nearly full washing machine. Tomorrow was supposed to be dry and hot, perfect for laundry. Fate was not too thrilled with the idea that Nanoha hung her under things out for the world to see, but they only had a clothesline on the front balcony and no dryer in the apartment.
Ah, the perils of base on-housing. At least the dry-cleaning service covered their uniforms - as Fate was absolutely awful at ironing shirts and Nanoha was not much better.
"We should go up; it's going to start soon." Fate said, flicking her wrist and closing down her monitor screens.
Nanoha nodded and grabbed the blanket and something else that Fate could not see from the pile by the door. Fate was grateful that she was willing to carry their gear up to the roof, as the very thought of carrying anything in this weather was quite lost on her. She'd just cooled off and she didn't want to risk getting all sweaty until she absolutely had to. She was being lazy, really, but she did grab the bottle of wine out of the refrigerator and find two cups that didn't look like they'd somehow been passed down from Hayate's 'mommy' stage with Vita. Just two normal glasses. They were careful to not actually have wine glasses in the apartment, because they would inevitably be broken.
"Wait for me!" Fate called, as Nanoha was walking far more briskly than Fate's own pace. They had time; there was no need to rush.
The roof was deserted, which was strange, as usually there were a few of the support staff up here at this hour, watching the night sky and smoking cigarettes that were technically not allowed in the building. Fate smiled when she saw that Nanoha had laid the blanket down on the corner of the roof furthest from the door, partly hidden by a cooling vent. Fate moved quickly over to Nanoha and grinned brightly at her as she kicked off her shoes and settled down next to the brown-haired woman. It was still to hot to be too close, but Fate still found herself with an arm around Nanoha's shoulders as they flopped backwards onto the hard concrete of the rooftop together.
"This is strange," Nanoha said a small circle of her rose-colored magic appearing above her head as she spelled the area to be shielded from the rain.
Fate added her own magic to the spell, and it turned a nice shade of orange. Fate liked to combine their magics, even if she was spelling for repulsion and protection while Nanoha was just trying to keep them dry. "What is?" she asked, as they wove the final parts of the spell together and let the magic go - the air shimmering briefly as the spell took effect and then returning to the familiar nighttime grey.
Nanoha rolled so that she was on her side, facing Fate, so close that their noses were almost touching. "We're adults now, and yet we're still like excited children, waiting for this storm to break."
Fate laughed and brushed a stray lock of hair out of her lover's eyes. "It's something that we've always kept special between the two of us. Why should that change now?"
The first rumble of thunder boomed then, the sky flashing to life as Nanoha shrieked and curled closer to Fate, her leg haphazardly thrown over Fate's and her arms tight across Fate's chest.
The storm was louder here, more violent than Fate had been expecting.
It was glorious.
They lay on their backs, watching the sky with interest as the clouds churned overhead, creating the appearance of malevolent gods enacting their hatred on the world.
Fate did not believe in such things. She had something else to believe in, someone who would never let her fall.
"Nanoha?" Fate asked after a particularly loud crash of thunder.
"Mn?"
"Will you kiss me?" Fate felt foolish asking, knowing that she could take from Nanoha what she wanted, no questions asked.
Nanoha smiled and propped herself up on one elbow. "The last time we did this," she muttered, her fingers cupping Fate's chin, moving her closer. Close enough for their breath to mingle and their lips to brush ever so slightly as Nanoha continued speaking. "You wanted to kiss me, then, didn't you?"
"Yes..." Fate hissed, the proximity, and the lightning dancing across the sky had filled her with memories of a time when she'd wanted something with no hope of ever getting it.
Nanoha kissed her deeply, a wet press of lips on lips. There was none of the innocence that Fate had fallen love with, just a woman every bit as much in love with Fate as Fate was with Nanoha.
"I love you." Fate said into the kiss.
"I know." Nanoha said, running her fingers through Fate's bangs. "I love you too."

I'm still in the middle of coming up with ideas for my Fignum fic. Not quite sure how to follow the previous chapter XD
I want to plan it a bit more so will have a think when i have more time. However, i seem to be going through all the other pairings atm without even doing a NanoFate one
So to follow, i just made a quick short, which may turn into a multichapter story.
Spoiler for Shagnum???:
“Will you please stop fussing I’m telling you I’m fine!” would be the voice heard by anyone walking past Hayate’s apartment in section six. Luckily though it was the only room on the top floor. Home to Hayate, and of course her knights.
In the apartment was a fairly comical scene. A battle torn Signum, still in her barrier jacket was currently standing in front of the sofa in the living area avoiding a scowling Shamal holding up a medical kit.
“Signum, it’s my duty as medical officer to ensure everyone on this base is at full capacity” the blonde doctor reprimanded.
“I’m telling you Shamal, I am fine, I just need to rest.” Signum crossed her arms across her ample chest to try and get her point across.
Shamal inwardly sighed, she was always like this. After any duel with Fate, she would refuse any medical treatment rather than accept Fate was a good match and caused injuries to her. It was especially worse today as she had in face lost this little bout and so was hurt more than usual. Apparently pride had got the better of her and she had not given up until she could no longer move. She had stubbornly managed to get back to their room. How she was standing now Shamal didn’t know.
‘Seems like I have to use that new security feature I asked Hayate to install, I thought I’d have to use it on Fate or Nanoha first, seems Signum gets to be the guinea pig’ Shamal thought to herself.
“Laevatein, power down, medical officer Shamal override code SH974, linker core lock down.”
Signum suddenly found her barrier jacket replaced by her uniform.
“Shamal, what did you just do?” Signum asked sternly.
“I’ve sealed your magical power, and your device from activation until I say so, now sit down so I can sort you out.”
Signum was flabbergasted, how could Shamal do this? She was not going to go down without a fight.
“Return Laevatein right now Shamal” Signum’s voice had a malicious edge to it. She did not like to feel powerless, let alone beaten.
Shamal figured this wasn’t going to go down well, but at least she can now heal her, whether or not Signum wanted her to or not.
“Klarer Wind….” Shamal’s intelligent device glowed green slightly before four distinct rings shot out and pinned Signum down.
“Shamal!!! What are yo-”
“Since some noble warrior is not going to let me treat her, I’m not going to give her a choice.” Said the blonde woman, rather smugly, Signum would add.
Signum was mad, she was angry, oh boy was Shamal going to get it when she got out of this one, but above all she was embarrassed like never before.
She, Signum, the leader of Wolkenritter, most powerful knight equal in strength to the aces of the TSAB, was pinned spread eagle to the sofa. If anyone saw her now, she would not live this down. Shamal didn’t miss the prominent blush on Signum’s face.
“Finally I can get you to do what I tell you to do” voice full of mirth.
“Shamal, Ok I’ll stay still, just please, let me out of this…this…..” Signum struggled against her bonds to no avail.
“Ara? I quite like seeing you in this position Signum, you had better stay still, anymore and well, you might reveal a little too much ne?”
Signum realised that she had managed to squirm her way to the edge of the couch, feet on the floor, knees pointing high and outwards, It was like she was slouching had it not been for her arms pinned high above her head. The fact was, her skirt had ridden up quite high up her thigh, revealing the end of her stockings, and the beginning of her garter belt. If she wasn’t mistaken Shamal could see her…
“White eh?”
Signum’s ears turned red.
“Surprisingly innocent are we? Although I suppose that suits you Signum.”
Signum was at a loss for words, she was completely helpless to this woman in front of her. Green eyes containing all the mischief she seemed to be getting out of this situation.
Shamal was having fun right now, she knew she shouldn’t but it was only on those very rare occasions that she could even tease their leader, let alone embarrass her. This was for medical reasons that she had to be restrained; the fun was just a bonus.
The fact of the matter was, Shamal felt more than just friendship for the currently restrained knight. She was just very good at keeping secrets, being the most mature of the Wolkenritter she had made sure no one had cottoned on.
Though memories of their past were not retained, fragments came back from time to time, as well as in their dreams. Shamal wasn’t sure how she knew they were real, she could just feel it. Including all the time spent with Hayate, the feelings she had initially questioned had only begun to grow.
Thinking she could push her luck a little more with her secret crush in front of her, she slowly walks up so Signum and straddles her waist, slowly unbuttoning her uniform blouse.
“Shamal, what are you doing???”
“Removing your clothes so I can clean your wounds” Shamal replied simply, relishing the look on Signum’s face.
Signum now found herself in a very awkward position. She couldn’t move, and Shamal, was currently straddling her and had just done away with her shirt after some adept transportation magic. Leaving her in her matching white bra with lacy patterns across the front of the cup, leading into a bow where the two met. The blush was still as prominent as ever, she thought she might die from blood haemorrhaging.
Having said that, Signum thought, it is kind of nice being doted on for once….. Signum noted Shamal’s careful ministrations and soothing hands working her injuries and the slow pain and fatigue starting to wear away.
She would never admit it, but Shamal was the only one she would ever appear weak in front of. That, and she usually forced her to let her heal her injuries. Even when she came back from missions, secretly bandaged herself, she still knew. She couldn’t get away with anything when this woman was around. Even when she resolved herself to not let her do anything and that she was fine, a sad look made her defences crumble instantly. Shamal was the only one who had this effect on her, why was that?
Signum unconsciously let out a content sigh, which didn’t go unnoticed by the doctor currently working on her. Shamal didn’t say anything, just enjoying the fact that Signum had finally let her defence down, letting her in that little bit more. She couldn’t help the smile from sneaking across her face.
Shamal noticed that Signum’s eyes were finally drifting closed, the fight having caught up with her, just finishing up her spells, she undid her bindings and proceeded to carry Signum bridal style to her room. She was surprisingly light, without her armor, she was what many other people failed to see, just a woman.
Shamal knew she shouldn’t, but well what could it hurt, Signum did need to sleep, and it wouldn’t do for her to sleep in her uniform. Shamal blushed heavily as she rested Signum on the double bed and slowly undid the zip of her skit. Gently pulling it down to her ankles and off completely.
‘Ok Shamal, stay calm, you're not a pervert, you’re a medical officer, seeing Signum in innocent white sexy lingerie is NOT going to make you lose your professionalism’
Shamal couldn’t help but stare in awe at the lean body in front of her. Slender legs to die for, curves in all the right places, a well endowed cleavage, emphasized by her slow and steady breathing. Shamal’s gaze finally landed on Signum’s face, her hair now splayed behind her having undone the ribbon that kept it in place. Shamal’s heart skipped a beat.
She shouldn’t be doing this, she's a doctor, she's her friend, this is taking advantage, the guilt was slowly kicking in. Shamal allowed herself one last pleasure before leaving Signum, not knowing when she may get to see her like this or let down her defences again.
Bending down slowly, pushing some stray hair behind her ear, she gently touched her lips to Signum’s cheek. “Rest well my, proud knight” was whispered as she pulled away and slowly pulled the covers up and over Signum.
Quietly Shamal left the room, closing the door behind her. Just as it shut, there was a slight movement in the bed.
Signum slowly brought her hand up to where Shamal had kissed her. Cheeks rosy red from the intimacy. “A knight exists to protect what is precious to them” she whispered. A twinge of a smile evident on her face, but as soon as it came it was gone as Signum turned onto her side in the bed to get more comfortable.
She learned something about Shamal today, and she wasn’t about to let this piece of knowledge go to waste. She would get her back for the little stunt she just pulled, her pride demanded it. However something else had begun to awaken within the pink haired mage. An emotion she thought she had abandoned long ago when her oath as a knight had been made. Somehow Shamal had woven her way through all her barriers and lodged herself in the deepest part of her. Without Signum even realizing it, Shamal had claimed this knight’s heart.
Spoiler for Spoilers for fic:
Wasn't sure how to end it, i thought i could wrap it up in a one shot and have a nice romantic kiss. I figured that would be rushing it so opted for above instead to leave possible follow on.
Not published on FF.net yet. Wanted some thoughts for one shot kiss or multichapter fluffyness XD
Spoiler for Omake XD Shamal the tease:
“Surprisingly innocent are we? Although I suppose that suits you Signum, i wonder if you have the matching set..”
"ehhh?"
Shamal slowly straddled Signum's waist. With a flick and some deft transportation magic Signum was left in nothing but her lingerie.
"Sha----mal, what are you ahhhhhhh"
"fufu Signum, so soft, you never give that reaction when Hayate does it, do you secretly like being restrained..."
"What are you talking about let me--aaah"
Shamal's knee was in an incredibly sensitive spot as far as Signum was concerned, she was losing the ability to think coherently.
"Sensitive are we Signum? not used to being touched in these areas are you fufu......."
Signum's eyes were rolling back in her head, she couldn't take this, whats wrong with her, why was she enjoying it, she was, she was being Dominated for crying out loud, and by Shamal no less!
Suddenly the door whooshed open and in walks Zafira with Vivio on his back.
"Zaffy, there doing what Fate-mama and Nanoha-mama do, is it fun?"
Zafira was frozen, he was screwed, if he wasn't nailed by Shamal and Signum for interrupting their little fun, He's going to be breaker'd by Nanoha when Vivio asks them about this.
He promptly turned around and left for the nearest club, if he was going to go down, he was going to go down bringin' sexy back.
Yay, Shagnum! I'm going to call it that, just because its funny. That was great and the omake was amusing. Though if Vivio was on Zafira's back does that mean she is going to the club too? *imagines Zafira in a club bringing sexy back with Vivio* Lol

Spoiler for Nanoha, at time of accident:
The mask was fogging over. The mask was clear again... Pain in my chest. The mask fogged again.
It was hard to breathe, even harder to move. He copper taste in my mouth wouldn't go away now matter how many times I swallowed. My body felt numb and senses were slipping away from me.
I didn't fully understand what was happening, only that I was being moved. People were around me, screaming orders and crying heavily. Were they... crying for me? I wanted to tell them it would be okay, to wipe away their tears, but I couldn't move.
The copper taste came again and I swallowed it down, coughing against my will and making the fogging plastic mask stain red.
It was so hard to breathe... so very, very hard.... I just wanted sleep...
"Nanoha!"
That voice. A flash of blond. Red eyes. Doors closed and a light came above me, robbing me of the flash of comfort.
Was I really going to die?
That... didn't turn out like I wanted it to, but oh well.
I like it but it is missing something, I'm not sure. Maybe it just needs more story. I don't know.

What if section six's AC was broken one night? XDDD NSFWish
Spoiler for Broken AC:
"So... hot..." Nanoha's words came out wearily, reaching up to wipe the sweat off of her forehead.
"Ugh... Don't remind me..." Fate moaned out next to her. The two were on their bed at two in the morning, suffering the heat of the summer's night. The air conditioner had gone out earlier in the day and was still being worked on. Despite being nighttime and windows open, it was still hot with no breeze flowing through their loft apartment.
"Fate-chaaaaaan, I don't want to be hot anymore!" Nanoha fanned out her shirt. "Fan me?"
"How about you fan me?" She asked in reply, wiping the sweat from her face.
"Ahhh, mou, I can't take it anymore!" The girl started unbuttoning her shirt. "I'm stripping.
"Nanoha!?"
She flushed. "We've seen each other naked since we were ten."
"But... in bed..." The blond blushed heavily when Nanoha took off even her panties and tried her best not to look at the fuzzy patch revealed in the moonlight. "S-so! Um..."
"Ahhhh..." Nanoha fell back happily. "So much better. You should strip too, Fate-chan."
"E-eh!?" She shook her head. "N-no, I'm fine!"
Nanoha placed a hand on Fate's neck and frowned. "You're drenched! Come on, off!" Despite the struggling, she still managed to fight her friend enough to take off the sheer nighty. "these too!" Her fingers looped under Fate's black and purple panties and tugged, stopping when Fate thrust her hand down between her legs.
"No"
"Why?" She questioned innocently.
"B-because!"
Nanoha blinked. " Because? "
"I..I... because!" Fate swallowed, looking at Nanoha in fright.
"you on your period?"
"no!"
"then it's okay" Nanoha jerked down and giggled at Fate's cute squeek. Over her knees they went and after clearing the ankles they were tossed on the floor. "Isn't that much cooler?" she asked happily, leaning over her with a smile.
Fate was having trouble breathing, trying to keep her eyes from looking down between their almost touching nude bodies. "I... I..."
"Wow, you're still sweating!" Nanoha blew on her softly to try and cool her down.
"hi-ku!" Fate squeeked again, closing her eyes.
"Nya haha, Fate-chan's funny." Nanoha feel beside her and closed her eyes.
Fate sighed out and started to breathe again. 'Well.... it is cooler.' As the two drifted off to sleep, Fate smiled lightly at how close Nanoha felt with her. 'She's the best friend ever...
~**~
Hayate opened her friend's door happily, carrying Vivio on her hip. "girls! I come bearing a Vivio! We had fun last night, you should have seen her and Vita pla-Ehhh!?" She almost dropped the child but quickly recovered by placing her on her feet.
Fate looked up sleepily, her matted damp sweaty hair sticking to Nanoha's nude body that was squirming under her. Their habit of cuddling in bed lasting even through the heat.
Vivio pointed happily. "They're doing it again!" She declared, refering to their hugging.
Hayate stomped her foot. "Don't have sex in front of children!"
Fate's eyes went wide "Eh!? EHHHHHHHHHHHHH!?"
Nanoha groaned. "Fate-chan ,stop screaming so much... you'll wake people."
That was funny. I'm surprised Hayate was being the responsible one though. Sometimes I can't believe how naive and cute Vivio is.

That was sad. At first I though 'oh she's going on a mission' and then in the next line I got it. Fate!!

Delightful fluff.
Definitely delightful. I'm liking the thunderstorm stories. They are cute and just awesome. I want more!
I tried writing Signum, but naturally ended up with Hayate . I think I was a little melancholy today, and it showed:
Spoiler for Watching over:
“How did it go?”
“Well. If I keep this up they said I won’t even need the wheelchair by the end of the month.”
“That’s good.”
Signum is wheeling me out of the hospital, heading home after the checkup. Can I be honest with you? It feels odd, really. In only a few months I’ll be given a clean bill of health, then these visits won’t be needed. I’ve been coming to this hospital since as long as I could remember; it’s almost been like a second home. To never see these familiar halls or these smiling faces again, it makes me a little sad.
“Signum…”
“Yes?”
“Could you help me stand? I want to walk for a bit.”
“You shouldn’t push yourself, you’re still not – “
“Please? Only for a few steps. I just need to feel it.”
I hope you’ll forgive me for being so selfish, but I really need to do this. I can push myself out of the wheelchair now, and Signum is right here to support me. It really is a wonderful feeling, standing. I still need help, but it’s like I’m finally moving somewhere. Especially now, when there are places I have to reach.
“Thank you.”
“Mmm.”
Just those few steps made me happy. It’s funny, isn’t it?
“Vita and Shamal will be surprised, won’t they? I’ve made so much progress in a week.”
“They probably will.”
My children are busy right now, trying to make up for the mistakes they’ve made. I have to hurry too, so I can start atoning for mine.
“What should I cook for dinner? It’s been so long since we’ve eaten together.”
“Anything you make will be fine.”
Don’t worry about me too much, okay? I can walk forward now. It may be tough, but I can pull through. I’ll stay strong, because I know it’s not my legs that are carrying me.
Thank you for watching over me.
Holding onto my dear ones so they won’t slip away. Looking ahead without any regrets. This is my life. This is her gift. My name is Hayate Yagami.

It started up on a melancholic note. But the way it progressed had a very hopeful and encouraging note. And it would fit nicely if I saw it in the show as well. Great little ficlet. Made me feel better too.:3
Nice job.=3
EDIT: Whoo... Yep. Kha was right...>.> FFT is growing at the pace of Outer Cadia Eins (One) during the booming periods...<.< So hard to catch up with so many to read... Though the quality of many of the fics here makes it worth it.

I think it would fit perfectly into the series. This is how Hayate might have thought/said in the original. Good job.
I got to say, the penguin guy looks awesome. But that could just be because I really like penguins. Your drawing of Shamal isn't that bad.

Very nice. The ending line says "This is my life. This is her gift" Don't you mean "This is my gift"? Anyways great job anyways. Angsty beginning but optimistic at the end.

Original, I liked the fact that it was a thunderstorm and not a sunset.
Part1 of the story Departed. Enjoy (It is going to be angsty next part)
Spoiler for Departed:
Fate and Nanoha stood next to each other in a large oval shaped room, one bridge connecting the two sides from the pit on either side. Across from the TSAB mage’s stood before them two others, blocking the ladies path.
“Who are you?” Fate spoke first, pointing at the two opponents who seemed to look identical to Nanoha and herself.
The other blond spoke out first in a slow almost lifeless tone, “We… are you, and you are us.” The reasoning was lost on Fate as she stepped forward.
Nanoha moved her arm in front of Fate’s chest, keeping the blond in check. “Please move out of the way,” Nanoha tried to reason with the two opponents.
“We cannot obey any other orders then to stand here and keep the doctor safe. Please, leave… or we will force you to.” The other brunette spoke in the same deadpan tone as the fake Fate.
The four figures stared at each other, Fate and Nanoha realizing they had no fight these two girls no matter what.
’Ne~ Fate-chan, what are we going to do about this?’ The girls raised their weapons as their counterparts did the same, ’They are us, so how are we supposed to fight ourselves?’ The situation was growing steadily worse by the moment.
The clones of Nanoha and Fate stood their ground as the two Ace’s spoke to each other, wondering what they were going to do. ’Nanoha, I don’t think we have a choice, we need to fight ourselves here to move on, best to do this quickly. Fate sent the communication back solemnly to the brunette, who nodded just afterwards.
“Raising Heart… Exceed mode.”
“Bardiche, Zanber form.”
The girls spoke out, and their partners began their transformation. Unfortunately, the cloned Nanoha and Fate spoke the same command, causing their weapons to undergo the same change.
“Nanoha, it looks like it will be even more troublesome then before…” Fate eyed the imposter as she slowly stepped forward, having the clone do the same.
Both blondes’ jumped into the air, and swung their blades together, forcing sparks of electricity to jump off the blades and scorch the ground just below.
Meanwhile, Nanoha had backed away from her copy and called out for a multiple divine shooter, sending them flying towards her enemy. But just like with Fate, the copy summoned the same spell and shot it at the brunette.
Nanoha and Fate quickly jumped back, away from their clones landing next to each other, wondering how they were going to beat themselves while using the same techniques and abilities.
The two realized if things kept going like it seemed they were, there was no way Fate would make her arrest in time. The thought infuriated the blond greatly, forcing her to the point where she could no longer hold back.
“Sonic Drive… Riot Blade.” The command was given as yellow electricity broke into life around the enforcer. Nanoha had to back away from her best friend and partner, from the power output.
After a second, the dust cleared away from Fate, the duel Riot blade was held upwards, pointed at the fake who had also entered the Sonic Drive mode with matching Riot blades. Nanoha gulped, imagining the possible outcome of this battle.
“Well… I guess I have to step it up also, ne? Fate-chan,” The brunette raised her staff in the air, “Buster system, full drive.” She stated, knowing full well she should try to finish the fight as quick as possible to reduce the damage to her body, especially since the clone had just activated the same system.
Fate couldn’t wait any longer and jumped back into the air, her Riot blades held to her side, the clone doing the exact same. They met in the air, exchanging strikes back and forth untill the copy scored a lucky hit against Fate and was knocked back into a wall.
Nanoha meanwhile strafed to her left to avoid a quick Divine Shooter. The girl and came to a dead halt and raised her staff to the imposter, “Divine…” The small blaster pieces stopped around her and began their charge as well, “Buster!” The attack launched and was met midway across the room from another equivalent Divine Buster.
At the same time Fate had made it back into the air, just above the collision of beam energy. Turning in midair, Fate tried to get a slash across the others leg, but was disappointed as the clone flew farther into the air to dodge the strike.
The explosion cleared soon, giving Nanoha her line of sight, the other brunette just stared at her blankly, moving accordingly to the Aces actions.
Nanoha cursed lightly under her breath at the clone, the criminal they were after had done their job very well, keeping two of the TSAB’s best Ace’s busy for this long.
Fate hovered in the air above Nanoha, crimson eyes darting down at the girl below. Thoughts raced through her mind, how were they going to win, and if they would win.
“Break Impulse!”
A large explosion erupted behind Nanoha, who whipped around quickly, a nice sized hole had appeared, and the girl saw someone she didn’t expect. Black barrier jacket with white cross, black-blue hair, and a face she was oh so happy to see.

Life is a thing most of us take for granted. Until we lose someone that we charish, are we forced to realize that things will never always be the same.
So this looks interesting. Kind of reminds me of Naruto Shippuden. Anyways, who is that person at the end? I have a hunch but then again I could be wrong.

"Come on, Vita-chan" Nanoha smiled in a rare act of public playfulness. "It looks good down!"
"No!" Vita tried to get away but was held firm by the arms around her shoulders and neck. "Lemme go!"
"Not until you promise!"
"I'm not taking my hair down!"
"Please?"
"Mou, lemme go!"
"Daaaaaaaa~me"
Vita growled and finally gave in, having repeated the same words for almost three minutes now. "Fine. Fine! I'll do the poster image with my hair down!"
"Nya haha." Nanoha let go of the girl and started unlooping the braids, shocked that her hair wasn't wild and wavy from being kept that way for so long. "you use straightener shampoo?" She wondered.
"Mm," Vita nodded slightly, blushing as she felt the fingers working on her hair. "It helps me braid it in the morning."
"I see," Nanoha finally got it all done and finger combed the red hair lightly. "It's silky."
Vita made a sound that was a cross between a gasp and a hiccup when the people around them snickered. "What are you looking at!?" She demanded of the on-lookers. Instantly everyone went back to work.
"Okay," Nanoha moved away and watched Vita put her hammer device over her shoulder. "Make sure to smile."
"I know that!" Vita glared briefly but softened when she saw Nanoha's proud look at her. "Mou..." Shyly she turned to the camera, put a hand on her hip and smiled lightly for the flash.
Nanoha beamed at her as the image printed out for her to keep. "It will be in next month's issue of Midchilda Military." The person behind the screen informed them. "Thank you for your time!"
"Mm." Vita started to reached for her hair but instead found Nanoha's hand taking hers. "What?"
"Lets get lunch," Nanoha asked happily, pulling her along while swinging their hands in a half circle.
"H-hey! Lemme go!" The people started snickering again as the two left the room.
Very nice. The ending line says "This is my life. This is her gift" Don't you mean "This is my gift"? Anyways great job anyways. Angsty beginning but optimistic at the end.
No, it's definitely supposed to be "her gift" . Her goodbye was the saddest moment in all three series, after all.

I'm definitely starting to see why Keroko loves Vitoha so much.
