It was said that if you go up ranks your tattoo will get bigger. Example when Kotori tattoo got bigger when she moved ranks to the 300s?, she just had to do well in test and academics. Tora tattoo is already quite big and he is an idiot.

yeah but only recently he has started to use his phi so they didn't know that he had a humanoid type phi

He's raised quite a number of flags with the sensei. Just about added another to his harem.

Seems that humanoid-type Phi are quite intriguing, given the rarity of them.

or
Chronologically being the first in existence, yet having been discovered later than previous one(s)

Ugh, I don't mind loli's showing up and being all tsundere and what not but I do mind them falling into the same old cliche of them being in such positions of power.

It was stated he was the first to get a Phi period. Not because he was born there but likely because his family was researching it. It was implied to have been when Sakura's sister "died" as well 10 years ago.

just noticed that Satou's Phi's normal form looks like his sisters stuffed toy from when they were younger (chapter 1 page 29)

Sakura's sisters death is absolutely related. It was stated he was first to be recognized by the monument as for why all the interest remember he's the first person to activate it and despite his attitude its fairly obvious he's one of the most powerful people on the island.

As for the chapter it was very poor IMO cliché about being afraid of lightning and even worse sakura's reaction is fairly predictable. Leora is funny in her own way but o well

It may be cliché, but the thing that interest me most about this is just how blasé Tora is at the whole thing.

I'm expecting him not to give a damn when words leaks out that somebody important in the island - judging by the fact that she look pretty rich and receiving report of things happening while she is away - is interested in him. Or even when the girl shows up for that matter.

Hell, I'm pretty sure Tora would point out that the new girl's dress is sort of see through and ask something like "Aren't you cold?".

the fact is that's what makes tora such a great Main character and u could see it from the beginning. He's a complete perv but instead of acting pervy he's blasé as u said the guy not only doesn't overreact he underreacts. He's been blasé from the beginning and only one thing caught him off guard that's the weird letter
