And I waited for 2 whole week for this?
I expect some epic battle but I got base ball game instead... What next? Tennis? BTW, I'm Thai but I just knew that my country have baseball team from this episode. It's doesn't have much popularity here.

man...
having them play sports once every now and then is one thing since it's a gundam meets angelic layer after all... but for them to rig the lottery... as we mentioned earlier at a diff thread that's dirty... playing dirty.... Aila, Reiji's interaction are always fun to watch and it seems like Sei and megane's already moves to the next level to the point that they are like bf and gf already even if they did deny that before... I agree that two weeks not worth, but still this episode is entertaining.
Also, China and Sei is everything except bluntly stated as official, Aila and Reiji is heading there fast, as well. Point is, the confession might be necessary in the future. For now though, it's pretty much sufficient that their feelings connected.

Luang's a very much likable character in this ep... a real sports man...
unlike the twin jerk a saving grace of this ep from our viewaside from more Reiji, Aila interaction is that Aila discovers Reiji as one of the participants... originally we want her to have an interaction with Sei about Gunpla for her to discover the fun of gunpla since she seems to not like it one bit but now, Reiji can take care of it with their interaction and all... and megane2(secretary), she seems to be a prideful person, wonder if she'll take it personally that her plan fail and will act more of an antagonist compared to that loony... |

Good character development and interaction but overall, I came primarily for the Gunpla fights but was personally disappointed by the Gunpla action. It didn't even make me wanna buy the weapons set though that spike bat looked quite powerful as it reminded me of my days play Dynasty Warriors.
The concept of mystery weapons was great (As with the 44 symbolism or after translation, means die die, sure die) but I felt that the match fixing could have been done better. A weapon that could damage its user as well, like a flailing scythe would have been more in-tuned with a fighting series. I admit I enjoyed the baseball match but that didn't change my opinion either. The helplessness of Sei/Reiji before the reveal of Real Grade, haha, I meant RG system, was pretty well portrayed though. I almost winced every time Reiji kept at it. I just wished Aina was there to see that moment of pain for her hero. I also liked the reveal of Reiji's actual self for Aina. Seems like the suit has an effect on her mentally and Gunpla battle isn't something she liked, what a sad contrast in personality from when she's with Reiji. all that's missing now is a gunpla dancing...
though we find it disturbing... robot , any robot dancing that looks like a robot... it may not be the best ep but it is still enjoyable... really enjoyable esp when the German Champ got a weapon too small for its mecha's hand... |

Mao is another fighter I liked. That sandstorm he created definitely won't be something that anyone who get handed a spray gun would do. |

now that's creativity...
a pretty smart move for him and since as Mao mentioned, no rules are forbidding them to use enemy's weapon... too bad the german champ didn't think about that... probably bec. his mind's clouded with petty revenge... |

Had he chosen to take his Gelgoog out he could've gotten much use from that Strike Noir Beam Pistol he got
