I'm glad that it is KOTOKO and not some brand new band that could fail. But still, I wonder why J.C. Staff could not just stick with the original order and get Mami Kawada and Kotoko next.

Some said it came out this month but its officially next month.

Since Mami Kawada performed the first OP ever of the entire series, she may as well perform the 2nd OP for the third season which will be the last OP ever of the entire series.

Well you know I've loved every single ED and OP so far. So much that I trust their instincts. It'll be fine.

But, I don't know why they would change it up all of a sudden. Maybe problems with the artist, or they didn't want to be so cliche.

I am looking forward to a new soundtrack.

For Shana III, it seems that the label affiliation has changed from Geneon Universal to Warner (not sure why since Geneon is one of the main producers of the Shana anime). It just happens that:

a) KOTOKO quit I've Sound and signed with Warner
b) ALTIMA signed with Warner

Anyway, Warner has recently targeted the otaku market by producing anime projects (Ro-Kyu-Bu! and Kamisama no Memochou are the first works) and signing musical acts. Given the talent they've managed to recruit, they're probably aiming to become a major player in this business.

Actually I think that J.C. Staff just like to test out new things, like well, the HUGE fan service that they do with every show, anime original, ovas, etc. They don't like to stick with what is just good, they want to improve it, and mostly of the times they fail :P

I really curious about season 3, I wonder which part will be in the anime. I'm very curious about Margery Daw, and also Yuji... I wonder why does his hair become so long... It's kinda disgusting. Anyway, I can't read the novel (just read the synopsis), so I am really waiting for season 3!
