Get your loli-mecha fan on in 2009 with

Toei Robot Girls

I like how they chose the poster boys of my World's Ugliest Super Robots Album to use as the poster girls for this new show.

Seriously, anyone ever actually seen the original Baratack, Gackeen and Gaiking? I guess Toei really wanted to reintroduce their old robot shows to the public but couldn't find a way to make them marketable without some beautification in the form of lolification.

I'm curious to see where they take this idea.

Lolz, I failed. Only recognize Gaiking one.

Anyway, looking forward to this one for, well, obvious reason

Holy crap, could it be that now is the 2nd coming of mecha?

Mecha has involved into totally new shapes recently and dozens of remakes. We can literally have an SRW with all those old school super robots replaced with their new ones.

This should be called Loli Robot Wars, amazing stuff.

All they need to introduce are Mazinger Z and Getter Robo and they'd be set

(now that I think about it...Mazinger Z's Breast Fire would make a lot more sense now >_>)

Wait, how is Gaiking Girl going to face open?

Based on the website's DVD Goods section, it seems it's more a way of marketing old super robot shows, than an actual robo-tan anime itself. Which is a shame.
