It's so jarring whenever she comes out of the head though. I'm enjoying hot maid and then bam! Potato comes out and starts flying around! It's just....hard to get used to.

This ep was somehow more random when I could actually understand everything. I really do think that this was all one giant metaphor for the past, and holds some foreshadowing for the future. One thing that struck me as interesting was the Magi-QT. Coincidentally, it is the same color as Aleidas. With the dreams Akiha is having, it makes me wonder what she's tapping into subconsciously. The same thing with Itsuki...the "friendly rivalry of equals" seemed like a contrast to the situation we have going at the moment. Is this a hint that these two will get some kind of "power up" eventually?

Perhaps I'm reading into it too much?

Well, you are right that its foreshadowing, because some very similar stuff is already happening in episode 10 and 11.

So far its more about what will happen in the future than what happened in the past.

Right now the most scary thing is that Kazane and Takane has received death flags from this episode.

Indeed. Somehow I'm not worried about death flags in a Sunrise production though. It really depends on how much they decide to crank up the drama.

I'm rewatching this show since the subs stopped at nine.
In episode 1 the flat chested ex model sister is having a panic attack from the people who were watching her at some car meeting point. I forgot all about it. I wonder if i will notice more stuff wrong with her rewatching the show.
