My "need more details" sense is tingling. There shouldn't be much need for doctors with this safety system, since even a broken arm was simulated. My gut says there is something more here going on. Of course, that gut feeling is countered by "This is Vivid, which doesn't have much of a plot and is incredibly simple and straightforward." Then again, this could be Vivid suddenly getting a plot.

Well, it's more like it's a double ko. I'm thinking they're going to cheat Miura out of her impressive victory with some half ass excuse as 'Vivio hit first, dealt damage and then Miura hit right after'.

...ah dammit. As disgusting and cheap it is for it to end like this, who are we kidding? Vivio's the main character, not Miura I'll still hold some hope though. *crosses finger*

Or maybe the both of them are granted special permission to advance to the next stage. Anyway, Vivid's author is obviously trying to be well, obvious so very likely we would see some rule bendings of the tournament to fit the scenario.

Yeah, this is, well, completely, totally unexpected.
Although is it a good twist or a bad twist? I honestly don't know what to say. I cheer for Miura, but I have no interest in her being given a victory that she didn't earn. The worth of a person is measured in how they lose, after all. And I suppose like mother, like child. |

This is actually exactly what I was expecting.
It's the easy out of not having one of the 2 suffer a loss. No matter what the judges decide they will both know in their hearts that it was a tie. I never expected Vivio to come close to winning the tournament either. The story is about Einhart after all. Einhart will probably have a tough fight against Victoria and then Sieg will win. |
