Okay, so it's 13 episodes per cour. Something I just realized, what of the late night show? Maybe it'll show some things the first airing didn't have. We'll have to wait then.

They haven't changed a single thing with the late show yet... I don't think they're gonna start now.

Edit: Ya know, after watching the episode again, there's something that bugs me about the way they drew Free. I'm not sure what it is, but something seems off about him.

Technically I guess it doesn't, but I think they'll still show it. They have to show something in the two weeks between ep 14 and what they have planned for the 28th after all.

I'm not going to lie, the scene cuts made me really sad, but the episode was still pretty decent.

Free was quite silly in the Manga, but he had a lot more badass scenes that were cut out in the anime.

It is pure tragedy that they cut out the Maka+Tsubaki team-up (as short as it was)

Man I was really hoping he'd land a hit, the build up was great.

I like Eruka in her frog form

When I saw Free in last weeks preview, Wrath from FMA anime popped into my head.

And I really love the music for this series. Probably my fav of this season so far next to Macross F.

They really like giving him some serious moments and then it falls apart. Kind of like with speed star in episode 10

. Was still pretty cool up to that moment with the glowing eyes and everything. While close don't think Black Star was going to say that since it wouldn't fit.

Rough times for Eruka. Wonder just how many snakes she has in her body. Would think its only one, but since she can't tell its the perfect hostage situation. No way she can take the chance and allow herself to be destroyed like that.

I'm glad that I haven't read the manga, that way I can enjoy the anime without being bothered by what was cut/changed. I only read the manga AFTER that episode has been adapted. That way, I can check out what I missed and since I watched the anime first, I won't feel much of a loss. ^_~
Anyways this episode was really nice, it had humour, tension, fight scenes and all that ^.^ I think Maka's VA is really improving =) And wow the animation quality is so stable and awesome *_* BONES I luv ya!!

I noticed in the manga that the cloth Free had on at the start of the chapter had, what i think were Hebrew letters on it, but in the anime it was just simple symbols.

I had a feeling Black Stars new powers wouldn't quite work yet. It was still awesome what little of it was shown though.

lol cool episode. I continue to be amazed by the animation

. Also Free and his "Goddamn shit" phrase had me laughing. Anyways, good episode and a grade A series thus far.

Also the Black Star fay blade scene was cool and hilarious at the same time. He just have bad luck with his moves at the moment

but they will be no doubt ownage when he gets it together

His Wolf Head was drawn a little of in some scenes, though nothing that major.

Free made me laugh quite a lot this episode. His fowl language and mess-ups are what i like to see. Hope it's not to long until we see him in action again.

Still loving Eurka very much~

As for episode 14 preview, hahah it looks to be brilliant.

Another change was the fact that in the manga the cloth around Free's eyes have what looks like hebrew writing on it but in the anime this is replaced by symbols.

No, it sounds like he said

It means "Shadow Star".

Overall I liked this episode, despite the fact that a bunch of scenes from the manga were cut from here. Free was still pretty badass, but some of the said scenes were cut out.

On the other hand, Maka's VA is really improving! Now she can emote better and bend her voice for certain scenes, which shows how much better she's gotten.
