The voices of Greed and the Chimeras are very good. I liked them already!

Are they the same as in the original series? Can't remember.

Yep Greed is different. In the first series he was voiced by Suwabe Junichi, and Brotherhood it's Nakamura Yuichi. The Chimeras also have different voice actors.

After watching episode 14, I can safely say that Suwabe's Greed > Nakamura's.

And Dorchet's VA was pretty whack.

Good to see Kazuki Yao is still as awesome as Yoki though.

So now that we know Father's voice

Spoiler for manga:

I expect it to be the same as Hohenheim's voice. I know some people don't think this will be the case but I would be surprised if they don't have the same voice. Father is almost an exact copy of Hohenheim, except he ages. So I do expect them to have the same voice. And it makes sense that the narrator might have Hohenheim's voice but not Father's.

Although I do think Father in the flask will have a different voice of course.

Man I hope not. I already rather dislike the voice for Father, and would be against it much more so for Hohenheim.

But you're right, it's plausible that they will have the same voice. Still, nothing is certain. Hohenheim is about as old as Father but his body doesn't age, unlike Father's, so he could sound younger and thus have a different voice.

I hope he does, cause I don't think Father's voice would fit him. But I'm prepared for the worst.

And speaking of recent voice casts, Selim's was quite good at least. Can't wait to hear him as Pride. An evil Renton Thurston should be fun to hear.

Was there any doubt though? We all know what Nakamura sounds like, and he's honestly overexposed these days imo. I hate how the anime industry loves using certain actors or actresses to death in a succession of seasons once he/she gets popular in one or two major works. It makes the casting boring and predictable. :/

It's the 00 casting, although I am surprised that Mizuki got Ran Fan. Can expect a bit of gag art of her as Fate.

I'm not familiar with Fu's or May's seiyuu, but Nana Mizuki for Ran Fan? Isn't that a little too soft for her? Ran Fan is a tough girl who can kick ass.

But then again so is Riza and they also gave her a very soft voice. That seems to be the trend for women in Brotherhood. I can only hope that Olivier at least will escape it.

Mizuki Nana has done tough girl roles before. She can do the job.

Fate is actually quite tough in season 2/3 of the Nanoha anime. Ditto Hinata from Naruto (her fight against Neiji).

From what I've seen of Nana Mizuki she definitely has good range and has played many different types of characters (my favorite being Rue in Princess Tutu.) So I am not worried about her portrayal of Lan Fan at all.

Did you just call Hinata from Naruto tough? She has like... the softest and highest pitched voice I've seen in anime. I definitely don't wanna see Nana Mizuki using that voice for Ran Fan.

Something similar to the voice she used for Misaki in Darker than Black will be fine IMHO.
I'm honestly a bit more worried about Miyano, because as good as he is, his "serious" voice sounds pretty much always similar and he's EVERYWHERE nowadays. Again, not doubting his talent - I think he's great - but I would've preferred to not see him in here too

I guess I was not talking about the voice per say, but Hinata's determination during the Neiji fight. Now, that would be standard Ran Fan stuff, since she is ALWAYS determined.
