Fair point. While it makes sense for remnants of original hairs stay silver, not so much for those that are magically conjured out of nowhere. I can't explain those.

Nothing makes farming more appealing than a hot GILF like Ine, right boys ?

One of the perks of being young again is Ine can dress in all the cute clothes she's always seen in magazines! And Shouzou knows his wife well enough to get a nice dress for her without her even needing to ask !

Shouzou doesn't understand young people and their kabedons and kissing but Ine knows full well the power of a kabedon now .

Sometimes the only person who can understand an old person is an old person...though a granddaughter understands her grandma's protectiveness all the same. And now Mino wants to marry grandma instead of grandpa! I guess that's an improvement ?

They have another so, Takahiro! And another granddaughter, Shiori! She's a little more serious and curt than Mino, and voiced by Nao Toyama, but she utterly cherishes her grandma and wanted to become a doctor to help her get better. And even if it's hard for her, all the expectations in her life and her own insecurities, she always has her grandma to support her .

Shouzo's always wanted to show off his wife in a swimsuit but never got to because she was so sickly...but now she can totally rock a bikini! Shiori totally approves, but Ine just has to get over her old bashfulness .

It's got to be pretty surreal for a doctor son to find out his parents are young again, but having become a doctor to help with his moms' illness and realizing she's cancer-free, he can't help but shed happy tears !

Also seems like grandpa was a little worked up seeing his wife in her bra .

Ha! Look at these two embracing handholding! not that they'd ever admit it .

Look at the family growing up together as a farming family! Was that Yoshiaki's wife taking care of Takahiro? And it was the families care for that tree even when it seemed like it was on it's last legs that let them get rewarded with their youth restored! The tree may be gone, but at least it gave a priceless gift to the couple that went through so much for it .

It's the couples' 58th wedding anniversary and they're treating each other! You gotta love it .

So Ine was a Tokyo girl who survived WWII before heading back to become a farmer...and when she was at her lowest, she met Shouzou and it was love after that !

Grandpa and Grandma take on Resident Evil! Complete with farming theme! They may not completely understand NPC's or just taking everything you find like a thief, but they can rationalize killing zombies and go all out! Grandpa with a shotgun, grandma with a chainsaw! They even 100% the game in a single day !

The two cousins finally reunite! Mino knows Shiori is just a tsundere, but better let Grandpa know that before he thinks one of his granddaughters hates him, poor dude .

Good to know for future reference that if they flip the hourglass in their dreams they'll go back to their old age...but it's the inside that matters, because old or young that's what they fell in love with. And grandpa will take Ine out on their Atami honeymoon no matter how old he is .

Though it does get Ine thinking about her own mortality and whether she'll outlive her kids, grandkids, and especially her husband...she doesn't want to be alone .

Good to know Shouzou is now even more swole, and the promise of an open air bath with his naked wife is enough to get him to beat his son in an arm-wrestling contest .

Grandpa and grandma love each other so much that they shouldn't hide their feelings or try to hide their sweet tooth from each other .

After her parents died, Ine was left with her mothers family who she couldn't understand because she grew up in Tokyo, and they shunned her because of her fathers' disrespect. But the one person to show her kindness was Shouzo, and he melted her heart. Also it was kind of surreal hearing them actually sound legit young .

Shouzo is young again! But even if they only have a few years left of being young together, they'll make the most of it .

This part always made me feel a but sad with the realization that despite being young again jii sama and baa sama still don't have long to live. Then again, for the two of them it's a better outcome than seeing their family die before them, and being able to live their last years in health is already a miraculous gift.

Nothing sells the young generation on farming like a hot old couple doing their thing !

Must be surreal for Igarashi to have his old rival Shouzou help him clean out his storeroom with Shouta, but as much as he wants to ditch the past that he doesn't want to burden his grandchildren with...he doesn't want to part with his wifes' bridal trousseau. Just like his grandson doesn't want to part with the farm or all the hard work his grandfather put into it .

Shiori feeling the pressure to study, not thinking her grandpa has anything to teach her...but Shouzo once upon a time was in a position where he WANTED to be a student, but couldn't. Yet now he still wants to learn, and if her grandpa can still put himself out there to study, so can she! And reap the rewards .

Mino's grandparents are now the hottest couple in the village, but her own love life is going pretty well with Shouta as they get into a study date and she gets to unpack her feelings towards him. Not to mention he's grandpa approved !

Ine REALLY wants to go to a culture festival. Good thing grandpa had a senior moment about their schedule, otherwise she'd be pretty bummed .

Many men wanted Ine's hand in marriage, but only Shouzo got to marry her and see her looking beautiful in a school uniform! It's so effective she even talks like her younger self !

Maid Mino is very effective, but nothing attracts the older ladies quite like butler Shouzo. Who cares about letting students stand on their own ?

Aw...Shouzo may not have gotten to move up in school, but that's okay with him because he got to be with Ine. And now their flirting is on camera .

Sorry grandma, I know you wanted to see the bonfire, but grandpa has to play wingman and let Mino and Shouta have their moment! And what a cute moment it is !

Dang, grandma was about to reset herself back to old age mode for an appointment and now we've got an old Shouzo and an even YOUNGER Ine with no memories of their life together !

Shouzo is old! Ine is young! But now lacking in all her memories of falling in love with Shouzo and being a grandma! But what better excuse to make her fall in love with her husband again? She's practically looking forward to it .

Ine has also lost all her memories of modern conveniences like rice cookers or equal marriages where both partners chip in, so that's something fun for her to re-discover. As well as her and her hubby's new de-aging ability .

Even if you've forgotten your son and granddaughter, and how to act like a grandma, some things are just instinct, like adoring Mino and being there for Yoshiaki emotionally during a tough time. Even if his company might be going under and his boss is abusing him, he's always got his mom to support him .

Look at these two already flirting while cooking! They're incorrigible .

I guess it would probably be embarrassing recreating the moment you confessed your love even if you DID remember it .

Aw jeez, Ine's big sister is still alive but is infirm and can barely remember anything, not even her. That was probably hard for even present-day Ine to deal with, let alone past Ine. But she remembers the times where they would play together on the piano vividly, and in playing together she's able to rouse her sister again as they play a duet. It's so beautiful !

Ine doesn't think she's falling in love, but craving Shouzo's presence reminds her of how much she needs him and why she fell in love with him...because when no other man would take her, when she didn't think anyone would choose her, he of his own volition decided to be with her for the rest of their lives in sickness and health. No better moment to regain her memories and hug him tightly :kisskis:!

Next week: Honeymoon in Tokyo! Complete with Beyblades .

Didn't expect the gut punch from the situation with her older sister. The farewell to her old self was a bit odd (like she went to heaven or something), but also got me thinking philosophically about what a person and their memories are.

It's time for the long-awaited honeymoon for Ine and Shouzo! And they're going to see all the sights in Tokyo! And enjoy the modern convenience of faster trains .

Shouta is basically a grandson-in-law at this point, especially when he's joining them on a trip and mostly hanging out with Mino. Even his own grandfather approves of him marrying Mino .

Modernization can run out a lot of business, but even they can't compete with Ine just...standing there looking pretty .

Ah, I see Ine and Shouzo are using their old looks to their advantage to get a senior discount...good thing they have the kids to make sure they don't have a senior moment and can transform back in time for when they arrive at Tokyo .

They had a daughter, Akemi!? And she has a big family all her own!? I know she lives away in Tokyo, but you'd think they would've mentioned her by now. Though now she gets to experience the shock of her life as she encounters her now younger parents and gets doted on by her mom again .

That's cute that you have a grandchild who is your spitting image...even if that also freaks out said grandsons' kid when he sees you and his dad together .

Shouzo just draws the ladies to him at this point. Though Ine takes it in stride .

Look at both couples doing purikura together! Even if Ine and Shouzo's looks like a funeral picture .

Akemi always regretted leaving her mother in her poor health and never doing anything for her, but Ine only wanted her daughter to be happy, and now they can be happy together .

Shouzo discovers Beyblades! And lets it rip with his great-granchild! And also doesn't know his own strength sometimes .

Poor Shiori is all by her lonesome and missing her grandparents...but good thing they have grandkid telepathy to know to get home as soon as they're done .
