Even though I know some Japanese i turn them off because I find them annoying

Also, When Takano puts on that uniform she seems even more sadistic

Akasaka's power level is OVER NINE THOUSAND!

Epic episode, one of the best of season 2.

Anime sequence + original music + original screen capture
Just having the music makes the scene feel completely different...
I actually prefer the anime music. The game music is too noticable to be suitable for a background music in anime. It also didn't have a "Higurashi" feel to it when such light hearted melody was played.

Well, the game music must indeed be noticeable because it was a sound novel. But then if you listen to the drama CD tracks, they just blended in perfectly.

And this would probably be the reason why I can't wait for the remaining drama cd's to be released...

I assume you're talking about the noise Okonogi makes some point while Akasaka is beating him up?

No, no, not at all. "Futaenokiwami AHHH!" is a huge NicoNico fad at the moment. It's basically the soramimi of what Sannosuke says in the English version of Rurouni Kenshin. The guy took the same scene with different dubs (Japanese, English, Portuguese, French) and people basically commented what they heard.

And thus, "Futaenokiwami AHHH!!" was created. Now everytime there's a scene involving a dramatic running punch (or maybe something completely different), no matter what video it is, expect to see "FUTAENOKIWAMI AHHH!" speed across the screen in NicoNico.

And notice how s/he has no posts.

Is this a dialogue heavy episode? I just may go watch the raw if it isn't. Can't wait for subs. ><

Well I know all that stuff, I find it pretty funny myself, but I thought you might have mentioned it because they say it when Okonogi tries punching Akasaka very consistantly.

Satoshi-kun's alive?

Great episode. 9/10. More after I take my final. :'(

OK, here's more:
Akasaka is awesome. There's nothing more to it.
Shion is more vital to this whole thing than I thought. It's strange to see her like that when I still have nightmares about Meakashi-hen
What happened to Ooishi? He just, like, disappeared all of a sudden
I am loving the music. ^_^

Go Akasaka! Damn that was one crazy episode. Really thought Rika would be taken away and we'd have to do a big rescue mission to get her out of Takano's clutches. But then the saviour of the day arrived and totally kicked ass .

Quite the surprise to hear that Satoshi is still hanging around. After all it seemed with everything coming together that he probably was dead. Will be interesting to see what kind of state he is in. After all if he was just fine they would have let him go before now. Good to know he is alive and hope things work out for him and Shion.

But of course we still have a tough fight ahead. Tomitake is captured again and you have to worry about his survival. Managed to repel the enemy this time. But Takano knows that Rika is alive now and should be an interesting battle ahead.

He's the only person not to go down with one hit from Akasaka, so he must be pretty strong.

Whoa, Akasaka just became my hero. I didn't know he was built even tougher than Tomitake.

For some reason, he gave me the impression of Ryu from Street Fighter.

That was total pwnage. <3

A little part of me wanted Satoshi dead so that Keiichi could be together with the twins. lol.

Thumbs up Speechless…

What can I say… I thought 13 would be the best episode this season, but 23 takes the crown. Even without Rika's moes comments. And the preview just leaves me waiting in agony.

I really don't know what I'll do when this series ends…

Keiichi already has one of the twins, Rena and Satoko in his Harem.

Satoshi needs some love too.

There are two endings to Higurashi.

This one which is the good end and The PS2 one which is the true end

Even though the PS2's ending is called the true end both endings are considered canon

It's just a case of personal opinon
