So like I expected, Yu obtained the Sun arcana in this episode. He's only 2 arcana shy from a complete set now.~

And the episode didn't end up as zany as I was originally expecting it to be. I guess the social link related events with Ayane and Rise made it balance out.

I'm surprised they actually showed Naoto wearing a swimsuit (from the back anyway). She doesn't even appear in that scene in the game so I thought she entirely refused to wear one all-together.

And next week is the Amagi Inn visit eh? I thought that would be in this episode but I guess not. In that case, next week should be the last "comedic episode" of the series, but that whittles down the amount of climax/ending episodes to 5. Not the best decision to me, but no point in making a fuss about it.

Watched episode 19 and it turns out to be quite funny. Yosuke signing up the girls for the beauty pageant without consent resulted in Chie using Galactic Punt twice on him. As for the cross-dressing pageant, Kanji and Yu accepted them without any hesitation. Yu's soccer skills ended up hitting Ayane off-screen. Yu's stats made me LOL with 3 of them maxed out (due to his interactions with people). Fortune telling is hilarious as Ai wanted to find out about Yu's love life. Odd that 3 of the girls blushed at Yu, but Kuma won everybody's hearts easily and then propose a swimsuit competition for the girls. Naoto is just too shy and ran off easily. The MC for the pageant sounds almost exactly like Yuri Lowenthal from his pitch and tone.
Rise seems to like Yu's indifference and reconciles with her other self to make a comeback to the idol world.

Great episode! Rise's S. Link is maxed, Galactic Punts, Yu took the Ayane S. Link for Sun (with only a cameo from Drama girl, thank goodness), and almost all of the school festival events were well portrayed. Though I was kind of hoping the Mar. . .er "Maggie's" fortune telling tent was a bit more substanstive. And there was no Teddie asking the contestants inane questions at the beauty pageant.

From the game version that I watched on youtube, Naoto won by female votes. And actually Kanji's nosebleed didn't happen, he showed a disappointed face instead. Somehow I just think his nosebleed is kinda... creepy.

Damn this episode made laugh so hard i still cant stop smiling

Yu in the group date cafe was epic. Dragging Brosuke almost to the other side. Chie´s galatic kicks were great too.
Hmm i was kinda sad that theyve chosen Ayanes Link instead the other girl. I hope she will still appear though.
I was glad they showed at least a little of Naoto wearing a swimsuit. In the game you couldnt even see her BUT next episode will make up for this ;D

I already expect them to do Ayane's route because they did pick Kou in the strength Arcana. Picking those two would allow you to max your social link a lot easier because it won't clash with the other one. Soccer schedule is just a pain and also a bit on the drama club.

School cultural festival!
Guess the time for that came in this anime as well...
It was kinda fun watching them fight and have fun.
The girls-boys pageant was funny.
Pretty relaxed episode.

Yu never stops amusing me in the anime. I would have never thought he'd end up being the funniest character in the whole show. The group date was so hilarious

Maybe because the contrast with the other 2 horrible cross dressings made it look better than it was.
But Kuma's was really well done, only because it became a TRAP.

Aww yeah, funky student made it in. Pretty good episode, Yuu is so goddamn amazing in this anime, giving him that personality paid off so well. Naota was always a close second for me against Chie, she probably would of surpassed her if she had done the swimsuit contest. For shame...

As Kanji said, he likes girls that are mysterious and cool but are really shy in general. Yuu's stats maxed out in 3 areas now. For one thing, Naoto is even more shy than Yukiko. Guess we'll never know Naoto's true measurements (of course that will cause Kanji to react).
