Given that the seasons are generally 18 months apart, and that they're collaborating with the original author, I'm sure they won't have any problem making a fourth season eventually. It seems to me that the manga won't likely end at least until the cast graduates.

Well, at least Yuno and Miyako (given how Yuno is supposed to be the main girl of the group). I'm sure there'd be more stories at the Hidamari Apartments once Hiro and Sae graduate and leave. However, once Yuno and Miyako are gone, most of the magic of Hidamari Sketch is gone.

Since I have not yet read volume 5, I can't confirm if any material in it has been used. I know the following however.

First, you still have new chapters being made. Second, there's at least one chapter in volume 4 that has yet to be animated. Third, they can always supplement with original material as they have in the past. Heck, I wouldn't mind some more year 0 stuff.

We've got a tracklist for Hidamarble x ☆☆☆.

In order:
Arrangement of "Dekiru Kanatte ☆☆☆" by marble
Image songs for Yuno, Miyako, Sae, Hiro, Nori, Nazuna, Ume-sensei
"LOVE SONG for Yoshinoya-sensei" (that should be fun)
A new arrangement of "Atarashii Sekai", the Hidamari DS game ED
New arrangement of "Sakura Sakura Saku"
And an overall theme for the album itself

I'm coming in late on this (lately I've been downloading batch files of series as a time-saving measure). But it's the sort of thing I expect from Hidamari Sketch, and very enjoyable.

Fired? if Yoshinoya-sensei were teaching in America she'd be in jail.... (I just watched Episode 4 which had a couple of really good Yoshinoya bits -- and how she gets into trouble even when she shows up early....)

I have a lot of sympathy for Nazuna, being so painfully shy and seemingly out of the loop with the rest of the Hidamari tenants.

No posters yet (I haven't done any in a while), but I might do some.

I was wondering when I'd come up with something. I'd have done a few more but the motivator generator has been acting weirdly lately, as has my video capture (does anyone know of a way to get screenshots from MPC?)

You misspelled 'friendship'.

As for capturing images, isn't that just a case of pausing the video, File > Save image..."

And yes, if Yohinoya did in the US like she did in this show, firing would be the least of her worries.

Thanks. And you misspelled "Yoshinoya". But I won't hold it against you.

I don't see the problem with Yoshinoya-sensei. They are high school students, and she wants to show them her naked body to help them their studies. It's art ! ART DESUUUUU ! (<- read this with her voice)

I was somewhat surprised that TV Tropes has a page for Hidamari Sketch, but they seem to have pages for just about everything.

I must admit the "cellphone novel" plot in one of the episodes was rather charming. I was almost wanting it to be "the new Aya Tachibana novel", just to see the shocked look on Sae's face. And Yuno's "I don't get it" was amusing -- she seems to get the pulpy shoujo-ai Sae writes but not a book about a straight romance.

The male teacher should ask Yoshinoya out and get it over with (unless he's taken). Her reactions would probably be priceless....

Also very late in watching this (currently up to ep 4). You know, I thought the first seasons were great.... but this thing just keeps getting sweeter with each ep.

Believe I like the Hoshimittsu OP and ED music best of the 3 seasons.

Haven't come across the "male teacher" yet (assuming you don't mean the principal as he's probably 3 times her age, a bit much even for my jaded perspective).

@Hopcraft: please repost the posters once you tweak them. great wallpaper pieces.

I'm referring to the guy with glasses who always seems to walk in on Yoshinoya inthe staff room when she's about to do something embarrassing.

Let me see what I can do. Although I can't think of the problem with the first one.

Ah, episode 6... him and the school nurse are obviously hot for each other (heh, just kidding.... maybe). There's probably an entire harem series that could revolve around him.

I was chuckling quite often at episode 6, especially the "Nazuna-chan worshipped by guys" and the gang freaks out segment.

"Guys? What does anyone need with GUYS?"

There are some things that are not going to happen that are really funny. Miyako out on a date is one of them. I pity the poor guy who tries it -- he'll end up really, really broke from all the thing Miyako asks him to buy for her, from a very large meal to UFO Catcher dolls to movie tickets.

Just saw Episode 7. Poor, poor exhausted Yoshinoya-sensei.

And now how many ways can we humiliate poor Sae?

And the continuation of that scene raises the obvious question: do Sae's parents know she's writing pulpy shoujo-ai for a living?

So just to confirm - there were 12 episodes for this season? Any OVAs incoming? (I was certainly left wanting to see more....)

Went ahead and bought the first and second seasons (had put that off for a while). Rightstuf had each package for $24.
