Team Mako, we in there!

First 2 episodes were good, saw a lot of pimpin for Korra in the Anime thread on Neogaf, so gave it a shot and really enjoyed it, better than a lot of anime I've watched over the last couple of years... I never checked out the first series of Avatar, I intend to rectify that....

Also as for the shipping spoiler, I wouldn't be surprised if that was misleading, a dream perhaps? Even if they are the final pairing I can't see them getting together this early. Although a series with the main couple already established would be interesting. I have a feeling Bryke might want to tease the audience a bit longer.

It was in the mouth. You can't get past that. No cheek kiss from Korra. Straight for the goal. You go girl!

He's also on the back of the polar bear dog in the second PV.

The only way we don't get Korra x Mako is if he dies or already married, engaged or gay imo. American animation doesn't tease that often. If there's a couple, the viewer will know first with the third wheel continuing to try in vain until he/she gets the message. By episode 2, Mako's brother with his comic antics was settling in to his 3rd wheel position imo.

It's not so much that I don't believe in Korra/Mako, it's more that I don't believe their relationship will develop that quickly this early on.

Well there were only 12 episodes originally planned for the show so that could easily explain quicker pacing.

Amon looks like he knows energy bending or he was using a chi block. The only person we know who can teach energy bending is the lion turtle but Amon may have learned it from a ancient scroll or something as finding the lion turtle would be hard.

The kiss seems too earlier so it may be a dream or hallucination caused by Amon's energy bending as energy bending could make you see things in your head since it seems to hypnotize the victim as Ozai had a vacant expression expression when it was used on him.

Besides you don't know from which episode that was taken from. Evil scenario: Kiss is a part of the cliffhanger at the end of the season.

I don't think they have made the whole season yet but the kiss could be from a later episode.

Would be interesting if Amon is Aang's son Bumi since Bumi is the only non bender out of Aang's children and if he knows energy bending he could have learnt it from a scroll Aang made.

Thanks I rather download them legally trough PSN than watching a whole bunch of ads. They may add a simulcast at their Turbo nick page if they still have it.

Since she already mastered waterbending she could also learned Bloodbending as well since Katara learned it by force. Also bend from her own sweat.

Oh... my... god !!

I was so worried about this new show but it turned out just perfect !
The first two episodes were great, the time progression doesn't feel odd. It's just awsome !

Is anyone else absolutely livid that a repeat of Fred gets an 8 o'clock time slot and Korra is a "Saturday Morning" cartoon airing at 11am? Heck, even if it was at 11 pm it would be better than this.

I have to admit I had been expecting a Friday night timeslot again, 11 am on Saturdays is a terrible time for me since I have a roommate who sleeps in late and no DVR. Fingers crossed Nick has gotten with the times and puts full episodes online soon afterwards...

Really? 11am sounds great to me. Getting up anytime before 8 is a pain. :S
