I just noticed this anime and came in to bitch about Wolverine's appearance, because it is a god damn abomination. Although, I don't know whether to curse at Marvel or Madhouse for this. I'll give the series a shot, just for my love of Wolverine and to see how much he's been butchered.

06 was pretty good

that Shingen doesn't look like a human though, there's a limit to how good a swordsman you can be .. and tossing candles around so they all land perfectly is stretching it

I think Shingen is a mutant, his a sword master alright, but that is a little bit too much power for man.

Unless they deviate from the comics, Shingen is human with no special powers. He's just ridiculously skilled. He's like the yakuza Batman.

Anyone disappointed by the poor animation? It just gets progressively worse. The series feels so rushed. The backgrounds are so lifeless and simplistic. Shoddy production values. Even though the story is better than that of Iron Man and there's no horrible CGI, the hand drawn animation sucks.

Wolverine keeps changing between the black muscle shirt and the black wife-beater. The censored violence... awful. Bloodless hacking and slashing.

They've pretty much killed everyone. I'm sure they saved the last episode just to kill off Kikyo and complete the massacre. Min was a nice character so too bad she died. But geeze everyone just went down here. Makes me glad I watched the last 5 episodes in one go so I wasn't dealing with this over weeks. Just makes you shake your head at the waste. I get that Logan is going to be in X-Men and I suppose you can't have him on a romantic getaway during this but geeze....Too bad for the old guy who saved his granddaughter. Too bad she ends up dying shortly after anyways . Can't wait for the last episode so I can forget I ever watched this. __________________ Anime-Evo
