Uhm isn't that like a natural reaction given his feelings of guilt? I mean if any other protagonist would do something that marginal would anyone even recognize it? Seems kinda out of proportion to me, just because it's Haruto.

Anyway, seeing how Asuka is able to already talk to him I can't help but to reaffirm that she was prepared for the breakup way before it actually happened. Otherwise she would show signs of justified hate (ignoring, death glares etc.) but not talking to him or even showing interest in his personal life.

I agree with you. It feels like thats the direction the story is moving towards and ill put this out there right and i dont care what anyone else thinks That direction and those scenarios are utter CRAP!!!

im hoping that it doesn't play out like that because honestly i can accept a lot of things in the manga but this direction after the break up and obvious other hardships he should be going through i can not accept a cop out like that.

In no universe would that kind of healing happen so fast unless Seo is trying draw the series to a end rather quickly.

Well, of course it's bigger because it's Haruto. It wouldn't be as big a deal if he hasn't already shown people that he has no issues lying or sneaking around. This was just the icing on the cake that showed no matter what situation he's in, he has trouble telling the truth and saying things honestly. He and Eba are pretty much exactly alike in that regard.

And here's an interesting fact, Seo started out as a mangaka's assistant himself, under a female mangaka by the name of Tsukasa Ōshima. Either this is a weird auto-biography on how he met his wife and lost his friends, or he's actually inserting himself into the manga now so he can live in his fantasy world.

Chapter 144: The gang threw a party for haruto and eba, takashi and akari apologized to them because they comforted asuka instead of sticking to him as their friend and shoving her out of their friend's circle... Asuka also apologizes that she was on the way of their relationship and should have left haruto alone 2 years ago wandering in the streets and stopped going to college so he can meet eba by chance. Kiyomi and nanami were xoxo with eba...

chapter 145: Haruto became so manly that he stopped saying "heh?" and Shiori became his pet... his restaurant became so popular because he posted a lot of Eba's face on the walls, the plates, glasses and utensils, so a 3-block line of otaku eba-fans were waiting... some delinquents were checking on eba, the manly haruto brought out his specialty "hiroshima falcon punch"... "hell yeah, im the man!"...

-Legit... Seo really thought these all out... the protagonist became manly, a good decision maker, and athletic... based on real life...

"i am not worthy of Eba if i'm still like this"... (then he runaway to the mountains, meditating under the waterfall, meet a master, fight with bears... and comes back to the city with an "X" mark on his cheeks as a sign of his manliness...)

a lot, dude... i prefer action, sports, comedy, ecchi... im updated to all popular mangas.. i finished psyren, kekaishi, alive, to luv ru, school rumble, smash, recca, ares, slamdunk, beck, suzuka, ichigo100%, school days, love monster, kagetora, kimi ga suki and many more...i forgot the titles, especially in japanese.... i dropped some of love stories that has too much of bullshits... manhwas are mostly well drawn... for now, im looking forward on sun-ken-rock and zippy ziggy, these are really funny... the continuation of veritas if it has, just like the breaker.. holyland and worst are good too. i can't even believe i saved about 50GB of mangas and more than a tera of animes and kdrama/jdrama (thank god for torrents).. i was surprised that my teammates didn't laugh at me after seeing my collections, they even copied my animes...

it's kinda irritating to read a manga with a very weak protag like utsumi, haruto and the shitty kazuya Aoi, they can hardly speak their minds and lacks determination... but they got the chicks, just because they showed their kindness or determination in 1 out of 10 situations... a shame for the word "man"...

Chapter 143 out! This chapter is so dull, even with Eba back in the picture and all these transitions are so rushed and feels unnatural.

Anyone see Seo side note about Asuka and Haruto? Haruto moving forward in life? It seem like everything is given to Haruto on his lap Asuka moving on in few days? (manga time), geez Seo, might as well give us a time skip of few weeks.

Now I hope Seo doesn't pull a flashback Asuka/Haruto moments. This attempt would be lowballing us readers!

I didn't have a problem with the chapter. I probably enjoyed it more then the similarly paced Haruto/Asuka chapters. I do agree the side note was a bit ridiculous considering it has only been a few days, but then again it is a manga so whatever.

More importantly... wtf at Shiori.. LOL
