Oh ho, looks like another Puella Magi crossover from 2ch.

Intertwines with Touma's absence at the end of the 22nd volume of the novel.

Spoiler for Summary:

This one uses Kamijou Kyousuke's point of view. I don't exactly recall how he was in the actual series but in this one he is very emo about his state of being unable to play the violin. Apart from Sayaka and Hitomi he had a mysterious visitor who gave him 22 volumes of light novel to read, and while the fanfic progresses things happen as usual in the storyline except that Hitomi learned of Sayaka's grief of being unable to be together with Kyousuke, and witnesses Sayaka's transformation into a witch.

Kyousuke gets to the ending of Volume 22 and remarks how the hero lost to his misfortune to the end, he saved the world but is now missing. And how being such a hero is something he can't do.

The visitor comes in and tells that Sayaka is in trouble. They later get into a quarrel - think Touma's and Accelerator's second encounter in Russia, and after much talk the visitor finally manages to convince Kyousuke to rescue Sayaka - in which here it's revealed that the visitor is Touma.

Kyousuke later goes to rescue Sayaka, with a bit of borrowed strength from Touma - I somehow figured that he had Touma involved in the process (destroying the magic power which turned Sayaka into a Witch).

While going to school the next day, Kyousuke reminisces about Touma and the 22th volume of the novel he read, and thanks Touma (who is now gone, probably returned to the Indexverse).

Got to wonder who brought him those 22 volumes of the Toaru novels surely one can't think that reading those volumes straight is enough to make you hallucinate.

How do I say it... For this fanfic writer's point a view, this author isn't being very creative with how he's using his plot devices - ie literally the toaru novels.

Of all places to be... I wouldn't expect writing creativity from 2ch. Makes for great laughs but like how I would be cautious with the way they write, I start reading every fanfic that come from there with zero expectation of how the plot will turn out.

There are just some plain silly writing that... I dare say, puts Mr. Kyon to shame.

...So yeah, here's the Galaxy's first Kakine x Dress no Shoujo fanfic.

I hope Kuroi Hadou likes my impression of a Kakine x Dress no Shoujo relationship... Otherwise I would have wasted three hours of my life... And this would be very very very embarrassing... I mean, how much can you expect to write from just one passage in the novel??

“Well, what kind of movie did you think I would like?”

“I'd pictured you to be a more... You know... 'Adrenaline Junkie' type of character...” The girl tapped her forehead lightly. “Like 'Die Hard' or 'Lethal Weapon' or even 'Speed'...”

“What's wrong with 'Titanic'?” Kakine Teitoku asked curiously.

“Nothing, it's a lovely movie I'm sure...” The girl in the showy dress spoke halfheartedly. “I'm just saying it doesn't suit the character you have defined for yourself.”

The boy looked back at the pile of DVD discs in front of him.

“I'm got 'Romeo+Juliet' too, that one has guns in it.”

“...Romeo and Juliet had guns?” The girl had an incredulous look. "Must have missed that literature class..."

“It's the one with Leonardo DiCaprio, not the play...” Kakine clarified.

“...Isn't he the guy from Titantic as well?”

“Yes he is.”

“...Do you have a tabooish affection for him?”

“...I think he's a fantastic actor that's all.” Kakine raised his eyebrows.

“Uh-huh, well I'm totally fine with you having man-crushes, but next time can you at least pick a Japanese movie? You know I hate following Japanese subtitles...”

She was promptly called an idiot and told to die in response.

The girl, who is always wearing an elegant stylish dress of some sort even in her own apartment, took the mammoth sized bowl of popcorn out of the microwave oven and placed it on the table. As she walked to the refrigerator to grab the cola, a thought suddenly occurred to her.

“Hey... Just to be sure...” The girl asked from the kitchen.

“...?” Kakine didn't turn his head as he inserted the movie disc into the DVD player.

“You didn't bring those movies because you thought I would like them, did you?”

There was a slight delay in his answer.

A tiny pause, just 0.1 seconds longer than usual.

He then called her a big idiot and urged her to go die.

With that, the girl in dress walked back to the living room and placed the drinks on to the table before collapsing back onto the sofa.

Kakine aimed the remote at the machine, but he stopped midway.

“...So do you like these kinds of movie?” He asked.

“...You don't have to watch it if you don't want to.”

“...Neither do you."

“...To be honest, I'm sort of a Leo fan as well...” The girl wearing the stylish dress even in private carelessly confessed. “...I think he kinda reminds me of you.”

He immediately called her an absolute idiot and demanded her to go die.

"It's only eleven thirty."

"Yes but we've finished the movie, people should be sleeping!"

"...Why?" The girl asked cautiously.

"When's the last time a guy asked for anything 'innocent' at eleven thirty at night?"

"If it makes you feel any better, I still haven't had my first kiss yet." The girl thoughtlessly revealed.

"Not interested and not the point."

The girl worn a different stylish dress than the one she had on while they were watching the movie. But her hair was still down- try as she might, she couldn't get her hair accessories to clip.

Kakine sighed.

"Here."

He held out his hand towards her; palm facing up.

The girl in dress blinked at it.

"There's nothing there."

"No you moron, give that to me."

The girl looked at it again.

She then placed her hand face down on to his palm.

An action similar to a pet owner training his dog to shake hands.

"I didn't know you were into this kind of things..." She said in an astonished voice with her other hand covering her mouth.

Kakine smacked her on the head with his free hand, then called her a ridiculous idiot and requested that she go and die.

Five minutes later, Kakine finished tying her hair.

"There."

The girl in a showy dress observed herself in the mirror.

"Very impressive, Kakine onee-chan." She sort-of praised him. "As expected of the Number Two Level 5, even this is no challenge to you."

"...I'm very certain this has nothing to do will being a Level 5, and shouldn't you learn how to do this yourself by now?"

"Eh? But I like it better when you do it..." The girl blinked. "Are you... Pouting?"

"...No?"

"Is it because I called you Number Two again?"

"...Don't confuse me with one of your shoujo mangas and then suddenly decide on my character development... Haven't you got some place else to be?"

The girl wearing the stylish dress went out the front door and closed it behind her... Five seconds later, she stuck her head around the door.

“Hey.”

“What?”

“If it's about rankings don't worry, you're always be the number one to me-” She winked as she thoughtlessly spoke those words.

The expression on Kakine's face was one that he had never shown before.

“-In my phone.” She finished.

The girl in the stylish dress quickly slammed the door shut to avoid getting hit by a flying boot.

From behind the door the girl could hear him yelling; calling her a galactic sized idiot and yelling at her to hurry and die already.

The heavens had opened up and let out one hell of a storm.

“Oh great...” The young girl wearing a stylish dress sighed.

With zero interest in giving her brand new clothes an early wash, she pulled out her phone from her expensive looking handbag and called the first number she has on speed-dial.

It rang ten times before an angry, frustrated voice appear on the other line. He greeted her with a nasty cuss word and made it abundantly clear what time it was.

“Oi, I've just got off from my side job and it's raining.”

The voice on the other line demanded to know what this has to do with him.

“I need you to come pick me up.”

He responded with more cuss words.

The girl caught in the rain patiently waited for him to stop then told him the address of her location and reminded him to bring the black umbrella, which is the only one big enough for both of them.

In the end he told her to walk back herself in between the cussing and hung up.

The girl caught in the rain sighed and put her phone back in her handbag.

Then she waited.

And waited.

And waited.

Fifteen minutes later, a tall boy with a large black Umbrella showed up. Without saying a word, the girl wearing a stylish dress hopped under it.

They continued to walk in silence. Occasionally the girl would complained that her shoulders were getting soaked and pulled the Umbrella closer to her side. Whenever he complained the same problem, she would just reprimand him for being ungentlemanly in front of a lady.

After five minutes of that, the girl under the Umbrella finally spoke what was on her mind the entire time.

“Hey...”

“...What?”

“Why did you come?” She asked.

“...Why did you wait?” He replied her question with another question.

“You said you weren't coming.” She countered his words.

“If I said I wasn't coming, why did you wait?” He pointed out.

The sound of the rain grew heavier, it drowned out almost all the noise from the surrounding.

Thirty long seconds had passed before either of them spoke anything.

“Why have you never asked my name?”

The girl in dress brought up an old topic out of the blues.

“You could tell me anytime you wanted to yourself.” He corrected the girl.

“Yeah but you never asked.” She repeated herself.

Kakine sighed.

“I figured if you have your own reasons for not telling me, none of us are Saints... But at the same time it's like your have an air of mystery surrounding you and I find that interesting, okay?”

The girl in the dress placed her hand over her mouth.

“Ara... You know, you can actually be quite mushy when you want to...” She nodded sagely at her own thoughtless words.

He lazily called her an idiot and told her to go die.

Her “colleagues” in GROUP, particularly the sunglasses-wearing bastard and the face-stealing bastard, certainly didn’t mind that she finished the day covered in dirt, sweat, and grime, but she certainly did. That insufferable white-haired bastard had merely told her to “Get a damn shower for once” and left it at that.

Awaki wanted to punch him in the face and collect on the payback she owed him for breaking her nose during their first meeting, but the white-haired bastard was still wearing the collar that allowed him to properly use his powers. She doubted she’d be able to flatten him before he turned the collar on. Shoving down her anger before she ended up with another swollen face and broken nose, Awaki simply went back to the apartment she shared with the school teacher who looked even younger than her students.

Sliding the lathered soap bubbles over her smooth skin, Awaki considered the assignment GROUP had been given before they’d went their separate ways. They were to intercept a convoy of materials that had been… commandeered by a Skill-Out gang. They weren’t told what the materials were, but that was nothing new. Their job was to do what they were told, not ask questions. Right now the convoy was near an abandoned, two-story warehouse in one of the many run-down sections of Academy City. It was one of the more violent areas, so Anti-Skill would be called in to deal with the clean up. A drug deal gone bad, they would be told.

Such occurrences weren’t uncommon. Despite their technology, Academy City still had problems with delinquents and violence. The prejudice Level 0s so often received and so often gave in return did not allow for a peaceful society. Fear, more than anything else, ruled Academy City, and that fear gave rise to hatred and violence.

Philosophizing wasn’t her job though. It wasn’t their job. GROUP only did what they were ordered to do.

They had to.

1. This was originally going to be the beginning of the one-shot below, but the tone was so different I decided to make it it's own little stand-alone. Consider it a prologue, if you wish.

2. I'd like to do something more with this, but only if you want to read it. Let me know if you'd like to see it expanded and more encompassing. Who knows? I may expand it to include a reflection from the other members of GROUP.

Breaking Point

Spoiler for Warning: Cursing and mature situations ahead:

Morning came like it always did.

The cool breeze rolled through the streets of Academy City, both refreshing and biting to the people walking the streets.

The members of GROUP had assembled precisely three blocks away from the warehouse their target was located at. Their operation would consist of Awaki teleporting the other members into key locations around and inside the warehouse, and then wait for them to clean house.

Once that was finished, she would use her ability to send the materials to GROUPs headquarters, after which they would be sent on their way to their original destination.
That was the plan, anyway.

There was just one small problem. Nothing major, of course; just a tiny bit annoying in the grand scheme of things.

Once they’d begun their operation, the convoy they were supposed to reacquisition and the Skill-Out gang that had stolen it was nowhere to be found. It was so embarrassing. To both the team on the ground and the surveillance team who was supposed to inform them of changes to the situation. Like their target moving.

As the glasses-wearing member, the unofficial leader, yelled rather colorful expletives at the surveillance team via a secure com channel, the other member of GROUP were venting their frustrations more calmly.

“What the hell?! Did those idiots in surveillance not think this was important information?!”

“Why are you asking me that, you stupid bastard? Such stupidity.”

“Both of you shut up before I castrate you with my flashlight!”

The white-haired one smirked, “I’d like to see you try.” He pointed to his collar for emphasis. “Teleportation relies on vectors, after all.”

Awaki growled, “I had to walk three blocks for nothing! At least you got a free ride, you lazy bastard!”

“Oi oi. Knock it off, guys.” Tsuchumikado had finished venting at the poor surveillance team, it seemed, “We have new orders: We’re to search every corner of this warehouse for any traces they may have left behind. Awaki and Accelerator, you two take the ground flood. Etzali and I will cover the second level.”

Awaki groaned in annoyance, “I don’t want to be paired up with that bastard.”

“Nee-chin~, the sooner you stop arguing, the sooner we can all go home.”

“… damn it.”

Searching the entire first floor proved a more difficult task than it had initially appeared. Though only a single room, it was filled with crates (some empty, others not) and leftover machinery. It seemed to be a storehouse for failed research and experimentation. Or maybe even simply leftover relics of outdated technologies.

“Hm?” Rummaging through one of the crates, Awaki picked up an odd-looking device that was completely out of place. It was far too pristine to have been in the crate for more than a year.

“Hey, I found something, you cocky son of a bitch.”

“Eh? And why does that matter to me, you crazy bitch?”

“Because it’s new, you jackass.”

That caught Accelerator’s attention. Like the piece of work he was trapped in here with, Accelerator was more than ready to finish up this job. He’d promised that brat he would take her out to eat later; his wallet would regret it of course, but she wouldn’t shut up until he’d said “yes”.

Looking at the device in Awaki’s hand, the white-haired boy couldn’t tell what it was for. Oddly square but with two separate screens on it. Only one noticeable interface was visible; presumable one of the screens was touch-activated.

“So what’s it for?”

“How the hell would I know that, you idiot?”

“Accelerator forcibly grabbed the device out of her hand, hitting the interface in the process. The screens lit up and a whirring noise could be heard, signaling the device's operation.

"Uh... oops?"

Awaki shot a dark look towards the white-haired idiot in front of her, expressing her displeasure, "Great, thanks a lot. What are you going to do if this turns out to be some kind of device that makes explosive tumors?"

The device shut down soon afterward.

Awaki and Accelerator stood tense, waiting for something to happen. Accelerator's finger was resting on the switch of his collar, ready to turn it on at a moment's notice.

Nothing happened.

Awaki and Accelerator waited a few more moments, just to be safe.

Nothing happened.

Breathing sighs of relief, both relaxed.

"Why did you make me worry like that?!"

"Oi, don't blame me! You were the one holding onto it so tightly."

Awaki was about to reach up and slap him, but her body began to feel feverish. Swaying on her feet, her blurry eyes barely managed to make out Accelerator's form. He seemed to be experiencing similar symptoms.

"Wh-what's happening?"

A bout of dizziness came and passed without warning, leaving her body tingling and sweaty. Accelerator stumbled into her, almost knocking both of them down.

"I..." Accelerator paused, looking at Awaki with a strange expression on her face, matched almost exactly by the one Awaki had.

"I..." Shrugging her jacket off almost unconsciously, Awaki's hand reached out and placed itself under the hem of her companion's shirt, rubbing against his lower stomach.

"What are you...?" the confused boy didn't know what she was trying to do, but he liked it for some reason. Even if his body temperature soared every second she touched him like that.

"I have no idea..."

Thirty minutes passed all too quickly. Clothes were strung haphazardly around them, and heavy panting was the only sound in the warehouse.

As their cloudy minds began to clear, they became increasingly aware of the rather compromising situation they were in: Their legs were scandalously intertwined, Awaki's head was resting against Accelerator's shoulder, and the white-haired boy's arms were wrapped around the red-head's hips.

Once she became fully aware of the situation she was in and what had just happened, Awaki let out a scream of sheer terror and desperately escaped from the other person's subconscious embrace.

"What did you do to me you sick bastard?"

His mind finally clearing, Accelerator was similarly upset, but didn't allow it to show on his face, "I should be asking that to you, not the other way around."

Putting her clothes on at a record-setting speed, Awaki growled, "We never speak of this again, to anyone. Do you understand me?!"

As he slid on his shirt, Accelerator's reply was apathetic, "Yeah, yeah. It wasn't worth remembering anyway."

Awaki froze.

Shaking with rage, she was about to turn around and beat the living hell out of him for that comment, but another voice chose that moment to enter the conversation.

"So you two love birds finally finished?"

The two being addressed turned with shock in the direction of the voice. The other two members of GROUP, who they'd completely forgotten about before hearing the voice of one of them, were standing a few meters away, looking for all the world like Christmas came early.

Tsuchimakado looked supremely amused with himself as he said, "Nii-chin~ Did you know you scream like a girl when you orgasm?"

Shorty after his comment, Etzali couldn't help but think Tsuchimikado resembled a shooting star.

1. This is just a little something I whipped up in about two hours, so I apologize for the poor quality.

2. The title is a play on the names of Accelerator and Awaki’s powers according to the wiki: [Broken Vector] and [Move Point].

3. I always manage to get some detail wrong, so please let me know what I messed up on.

4. I tried to keep GROUP, especially Awaki and Accelerator, in character, but I’m not completely familiar with their direct interactions and they may be a bit OOC…

5. I’m not sure whether Accelerator would be able to actually redirect Awaki’s ability, so I played it safe and went with him being able to.

6. Bonus points to anyone who got the "explosive tumor" reference.
