I don't think you're reading the situation correctly. If they met in the round of 16th or 8th, I'd give Shana an edge. But the generally accepted theory is Shana has some chance, but people really hate final rematch. If Hinagiku wins, Shana will play a really tough game. Even if Kyo wins, those who wish new-face final will still vote for Horo. Shana is the underdog from now on.
That's why I say the tournament became more about emotion rather than moe, sad to say.. But Shana still has a chance. Anyway.. if you want a miracle in a moe tournament, who else will be your #1 draft pick? |

Despite her prolonged success in all tournaments, it would be a miracle for Shana to win Best Moe, especially if it was over Hina, for the reasons you stated above. I don't hold Super Best Moe in such high regards yet, since it only began last year, so I hope Shana gets a more prestigious title under her belt.
Horo or Kyou winning would not be miracles. |

Kyou won convincingly. Congratulations to Hina for making this far, but either way, I'm fine whoever wins in the end. I'd be rooting for Kyou mainly from now on, though. Looks like the burden of being a defending champion has finally caught on with Hina...

Hmmm... interesting. Hinagiku lost, and that throws a wrench at the tactical voting side. Maybe I'll be voting for Shana after all, since I do believe Kyou would have a better chance against her than Horo, since she won super best moe before. But then again, Shana will undoubtedly win the female vote, so that's a really big gamble.
I'll ponder over this a little bit more...
