As for the horse, yes, it is possible that she used her skill. Or her sword did it |

Do we have anyone here from western Slavic countries like Czech or Slovakia? I only have friends from Serbia who don't know a thing about folklore and I hardly played The Witcher, the only video game I know is based on Slavic myths by Polish people.
I really want to know the source of folklore that this series is based on. Most fantasy fiction and myths from Slavic myths aren't translated to English but at least they still get translated into another Slavic language. |

Preview scripts for all 5 volumes of Madan no Ou to Vanadis on Baka-Tsuki.
Volume 1/3 have been fixed for terminology. Volume 2/4/5 have not been checked, but most of the terminology should be consistent. Most names and locations have been back-checked against Names of European Figures/Cities/Regions and Slavic/Russian/Ukranian Mythology. Think of it is an early Christmas Present. Also, I'll admit it. I was lying the whole time. By the time Volume 1 was on the B-T forums, I had finished Volume 3, and by the time Volume 3 was up, I was most of the way through Volume 4. Volume 2 I blitzed in the last week or two since I had some time off of work. I missed a few days worth of sleep, since it was Class ==> Read. |

I suggest we all go to the nearby library to find any fantasy novels from Slavic languages. I believe "The Witcher" is relatively popular fantasy fiction from Poland and should be translated into English language. Also, video game "The Witcher" which the Polish developer CDProjekt adapted from the novels. Vodyanoy is a race of humanoid amphibian creature in that game. They even have their own king. lol Oh, and the most famous dragon from Slavic mythology has 3 heads. The dragon is called "Zmey" in Slavic myth, they can also talk and are very intelligent.
