The free "iM@S channel" features the HD Shiny Festa with the ONE song and a TRIAL version of G4U Vol.1. Apparently the SF song will only be available in the Easy and Regular difficulty and the Trial G4U only features Haruka and you can't even save the pics to the pic folder of your PS3. Also note that ONLY vol.1 of G4U will be available for 300yen, following volumes will be 1,500yen EACH. Same price as the "mini albums" for the Shiny Festa portion. Six songs in each album x 12 albums = 72 songs for 18,000yen. The total price for all the G4U volumes would equal 12,300yen so in the end if you're aiming to get everything the we're looking at 30,300yen...orz. DAMN THOSE CLEVER BASTARDS~!!!!

As if they don't make enough money off of Cinderella Girls and Million Live? BTW, the release date for the next CG CDs is 11/13. Also on the topic of Million Live:

I have will money this time around, but it sucks the way they are doing it to get the most money out of their fans. Instead of releasing everything on a disc, they decided to go with the DLC approach all the way, to suck all the money of the fans like vampires.

I wonder how the PS4 game will look like?

Are the Shiny Festa games going to be render in real time this time?

Just a think on the Cinderella Girls characters...

Rin Shibuya and Uzuki Shimamura are...basically expys of Chihaya and Haruka, respectively? I'm getting the same "Cool but awkward and talented" vibe from Rin, and the "Cute and clumsy but adorable" feel from Uzuki. Having not played the Cinderella gams and not finding lot of info on either character wise, I'm not too sure.

Because I'm suddenly wishing for a Uzuki figma after seeing this "gorgeous but I can't afford it she's so yummy I want to eat her" statue....

I'm assuming people are off playing their PS3s after DLing iM@S Channel?

Just DLed mine along with Yayoi's mini-album+custom theme. Yes, the mini albums come with a custom PS3 theme of that character. To my surprise Yayoi's album contained Chihaya's "Yakusoku", what more do I need? Other songs in it were:

Kirame Kirari - Yayoi
Ai Like Hamburger - Yayoi, Ritsuko, Miki
Kyun! Vampire Girl - Yayoi, Iori
READY!! - 765Pro All Stars

The Shiny TV mode is actually quite interesting. The premise is that the whichever idol you bought the album of is hosting a TV show and you play "challenges" on the show. The challenges include:

Short Challenge: The lines are much shorter = less reaction time
Color Challenge: All the icons are the same color
Customize Challenge: Icon, Line, and Sound Effects are all preset to something else then the default
Perfect Challenge: Get more then the specified number of PERFECTs

...and so on. Each difficulty represents a "season" of the show. Debut is season one, Normal is two, and so on. (you can change it to a higher difficulty from the default but you're still in the same "season") Each season has five challenges and when you beat the fifth one you get a EX challenge with a gravure movie song. Basically you get to play a song with a video of a G4U photo shoot of the idol. Once you beat that you get a video message from the idol.

...how am I supposed to concentrate on playing Kirame Kirari when Yayoi is dancing around in the Colorful Bikini costume on the beach set!?

Since I went straight to Shiny TV mode I missed a song, "Machiuke Prince". I missed it cuz it didn't show up in Shiny TV mode until the Master difficulty.

It's sung by the 765Pro All Stars. Since this song was also available in Haruka's album it looks like it'll be a shared song among all the idols...?
