True. Succeeding the fanservicey (and quite good) Soukou no Strain in the same time slot. The way I wrote that was probably misleading. I wasn't thinking of fanservice or anything like that, but more of the story and characters. But there are plenty of promising elements in the show that we may see in motion in future episodes.

Not bad, both in story and animation. Of course you can't expect the most realistic story when they hire school girls for astronauts. I guess, if the current cost to lift 1 kg to orbit is something like 1000 €, you have to cut where you can.

My only complain is the chase scene, I mean, WTH! Firing rockets and all that, maybe I just didn't understand enough the dialogue.
Episode was fine until then but it kind of ruined the rest of the episode for me.

Besides that, not bad at all, looking forward to next episode.

I like the animation overall and Yukari is really cute, especially her expression . I really enjoy the light comedy in the show as well, the part about putting Yasukawa on a diet to slim him down to 40kg made me laugh

if their rocket is so shitty that it can only carry 38kg of stuff, who would use it. And isn't the whole point of using a rocket is that they are so cheap (relatively speaking) that they can afford to throw it away? Ans what's up with Yukari's dad, if he wanted a one night stand he shouldn't have married Yukari's mom, and if he wanted out, at least have the guts to get a divorce. But other than that, it's alright. The show is pretty funny. I guess this will be another S-Strain. And average story with good graphics and fanservice.

I thought that the story is definitely silly and random. The laughs are worth it though.

we have the "op" in ep2, if you could call it op that is. It's a bit... crap, just a few scenes from ep1 and 2, I've seen better on youtube.

I enjoyed eps 2 and 3. Yukari and Matsuri are turning out to be an interesting pair. There's some happy-islander, uptight-Japanese racial stereotyping, but that's not all bad, and the characters are pretty good. The story is deeply unlikely, but not totally predictable. And there's some half-decent comedy.

Her finding her dad so soon was something I did not expect. I expected several boring episodes of poor humor before she found him. Instead of that, we got something fairly interesting: a wild-child imouto played by Nabatame Hitomi. She gives us a little happy-but-ignorant-islander fluff in ep3, but that's okay.

It's still pretty good. Didn't they go back to a earlier design for their rockets, why is it still blowing up? It's pretty funny that Matsuri's singing is so bad that fish came out of the water. lol. It's a pretty interesting series, too bad no one's subbing it.

Either way, I'm definitely watcing it, and it's definitely one of my favorites. Though something about the story seems like 12 episodes might be a little too short...

After ep5, I'd say a short season will be enough. The plot is developing well, and at a breakneck pace.

I really like the character design, reminiscent as it is of the Kujibiki Unbalance series (not the same people doing it, though). Possibly the only thing I don't much like is Yukari's voice (Sendai Eri), but it's growing on me.

That this show is not being subbed is a travesty. But it's hard for a group to do a late-starting little show like this, especially with a big new season less than two weeks away.

Pretty funny ep. Yukari's right, that rocket is like a giant bomb. No wonder she doesn't want to get on it. I couldn't understand the discussions completely, are they talking about using solid fuel to replace liquid fuel? Because they can save weight on the container? Is that right? And now Yukari's mom's here, I wonder if Yuakri bring her to see her dad.

and for the people who dont get it, the mad female scientist figured out a way for the fuel to ignite 'without' oxygen, decreasing the oxygen requirement means more fuel means more propellant which was the initial problem for the LS-5 rocket

This show is totally unlikely, a bizarre little trifle. But I'm really, really enjoying it. So sue me.

Spoiler for ep6:

Yukari is in space and there's an unfixable problem with a tile. Matsuri rockets up to save her, but together they are too heavy to come down again in Matsuri's capsule (for some reason I did not catch). Yukari tells Matsuri to return alone, but Matsuri refuses. She throws all the computer and telemetry equipment out of her capsule and they control the descent manually...

Spoiler for a neat little trick that you'd probably prefer to see with your own eyes:

...landing in the swimming pool of Yukari's old school.

Little of this made sense, and yet it worked emotionally for me anyway. The sisters watching the sunrise together from space was a great moment.

This is far more entertaining than lots of shows, and yet it looks as if it will never get subbed. It's not an exclusive club I wish existed, but those of us who are seeing this show are members anyway.

From what I can understand, Yukari says there's not enough room for both of them in the same capsule, that's why Matsuri threw away the computers and stuff. It's prettty impressive that Yukari did all the calculation manually and managed to entry at the right angle. And Matsuri could withstand 10x of Yukari's weight and not be crashed. But the end definitely takes the cake, they landed right on top of Yukari's school.

It's definitely an entertaining show.
