-Yukiteru is forced to train with Minene, since she had a plan to defeat 7th
-Yukiteru's father shows up, slapstick comedy kind of guy. He also wanted to train with Minene for fun.
-Yukiteru challenges his father in a fitness test, where the winner tells the loser 1 thing that they must obey
-Yukiteru wants his father to remarry his mother, so the three of them can go watch the stars together like in the past
-Father agrees, only if he loses tho, of course.
-They have lots of fun doing various tests.

...

-Father wins, left a message to Yukiteru that although he liked the idea of getting together as a family again, he can't. He has to repay his debt first, but claims that he has got it in the bag. Disappears.

Spoiler for ending of the chapter:

-Old man searches Yukiteru's room, only to be seen by Yuno. Old man calls "someone", claiming that although he can't find Yukiteru's cellphone, he will find it and destory it, as long as the "someone" makes his debt go away.
-Oh yeah, old man also murmured to himself how it was a waste of time to spend time to play with Yukiteru.
-Old man heard a voice, looked outside the room, where our yandere heroine Yuno quicked dodged out of the way.

Lately the story is becoming more boring, ever since the abduction arc, but next chapter should be a good one. Considering the chapter name, it's probably like what happened with 6th all over again...

And the lesson of the chapter is... you can't trust anyone in Mirai Nikki (though lots of other events teach this, like Kurusu, Mao and Hinata). Though I still trust Aru, the most suspicious "good guy"...

I'm pleasantly surprised that the manga is now focusing on Yukiteru's family situation, which he has mentioned in the past before. And it might be a hint, but Yuno is glad Yukiteru's dad is nice=her dad was bad?

Then again... Yukiteru's dad acts like a nice guy (tch, I was fooled too...), and comes back, revealing he's willing to hurt his son (whether he knows what would happen if the cellphone breaks is a different story) to save himself, and probably go into debt again... He better watch out for Yuno... Then again, I wouldn't save him. Sayonara.

Next time... There is definitely the possibility that Yuno attacks Yukiteru's dad, Yukiteru sees her and gets mad at her, and then his dad betrays Yukiteru and shocks him...

Minene sure has gotten friendly these days.

In the meantime...

Mosaic 4 (with a weird title) was great! And for Minene fans, is probably god-leveled...
And a certain no-one-cares character also makes an appearance...

It takes place before any of Mirai Nikki started.

Spoiler for Mosaic 4:

That character is... the 3rd!! The murderer who died first...
And he proves to be very powerful, in combat, with bomb and bullet protection and such, to the point Minene couldn't kill him, until the end where Minene blast him with sound.

Best part, though, was the whole interaction between Minene and Nishijima, with Minene even blushing and a tsundere line!
Of course, she ended shooting him (because of something he said), but it was just so...

And to top it of, Marumaru was reading shoujo manga and narrating the scenes at times (incorrectly, but funny all the same)...

The chapter went by quickly...
-Nishijima investigates Ueshita's place
-Yuno is trying to warn Yukiteru about his dad and trying to kill his dad
-Yuno, Yukiteru, and his dad are called out by the 7th
-Marco vs. Yukiteru, and Yukiteru's and Yuno's cellphones are placed on the side
-While Marco and Yukiteru fought, Dad breaks Yukiteru's
-But it was a fake, and Yuno manages to retrieve the real ones
-Ta-kun causes the ground to crumble
-Yukteru falls, and Yuno reaches out to him
---

Yukiteru's way of attacking was so funny. Absolutely useless, but cute.
And it was supposed to be a serious scene(?)...

That Ta-kun... Wonder if he has a terrorist obsession or something. Always destroying stuff...

Yuno's yandere moment of the chapter, trying to kill Yukiteru's dad with a knife without him noticing with a normal face.

As always, poor Yukiteru is just too nice... Was a bad shock that his dad destroyed the fake dairy like that. "USA DAAAA!!"
Scum of a father... Peh.

And at the end, Yukiteru is about to fall and has to choose between his father and Yuno...
In this case, even Yuno would be better than that father of his, who worried about the cellphone over his son's life when he started falling.

I think it is just you.

The last couple chapters isnt masterpiece or groundbreaking but it is setting up for the big battles that is coming up soon, with only couple of Future Holders left (Minene, Yuno, Yuki, and 7th left), and people that may help or hurt the Holders (Yuki dad, Aru and others)

Besides all the Epic Mangas and Animes atleast have a couple of eps or chapters that toned it down or wasnt that good but it pick back up on a drop of a hat. So give it time and it will be better.

Yuuno kinda got off easy. However, I'm guessing the nature of her diary is essential to Yukiteru's survival. Without him, it's a useless diary. In addition, she's, errm, the "muscle" of the pair. I mean, damn, dodging knives/explosives/bullets? Well, except that last one...
And hot damn, more Minene, and lol Yuki's dad.

Listened to image song on moontube. Interesting first track, but I'm interested more in the one called "Happy End".

Throwing away their child is one thing, but throwing her away in that tower... for what reason? Well, in the first place, something is very wrong with them in the first place... I swear there was a law or something on this...

We learn a bit about Marco and Ai's past. Almost makes you want to sympathize for the two... But with no doubt, there is something wrong with their heads... Why do I feel this is Ueshita's fault...

Yuno's plan was quite good. They baited Marco away, and was able to fight Ai together. 2 vs 1...
And Ai gets slashed in the throat with Yuno's knife (the other option was getting diary destroyed by dart). I don't see her surviving this... That, and death flags popped up rapidly through the chapter, and enemy diary holders never seem to survive...
"AIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!"

My question is... What happened to Yukiteru's dad? Left in the elevator?
And Yukiteru's mom is on the scene now, with Nishijima.

Yeah, letting your eye get impaled to avoid your diary getting destroyed is one thing, but letting your throat get slashed open to avoid your diary getting broken isn't exactly a good alternative.
