What? WHAT?! And here I hoped that at least HE would be spared. The Pedobear syndrome that is applied to characters who are shown to be emotionally attached to a child a.k.a. Sesshoumaru, Kenpachi, started after the DB craze was over. Student-teacher/Subsitute father/mentor relationship between these two characters is sacred to me

The only jokes I've heard regarding him are about inert balls.....

Piccolo is my all time favorite character too, so I'll make sure I enjoy these episodes until he'll be cast aside on the count of not being a saiyan.

Noes, not Piccolo! His sexy MAKANKOSAPPO is way too sexy for him to be a shotacon

"No Gohan, the f@#!ing balls are f@#!ing inert"

See, he isn't shotacon

its too bad he's near useless to the point of Yamcha after a certain point in the series

Now that's just not possible. No one's more useless than Yamcha, except maybe Chiaotzu.

Also, I've never heard Yajirobe in japanese before. My ears are bleeding.

Piccolo is no shotacon I tell you. Have you seen all of the Namek people? They look male, but they are somewhat asexual race. They have traits more in common with plants (photosynthesis, sunlight, water, being what appears to be vegetarian judging from Piccolo eating a Senzu bean, etc.).

What are you basing these plant-like characteristics on? I can't recall seeing anything that even slightly connects Nameks with photosynthesis, "sunlight", "water", or being vegetarians. Just because we don't see Piccolo eating doesn't mean he only eats vegetables or absorbs light.

Just eating a bean really doesn't mean anything dude.

Actually it's been stated by Dende that Nameks don't need to eat anything, they only need to drink water and they are an asexual race they reproduce by spitting out eggs which can even carry the 'father's' soul (based on Demon Piccolo spitting out Piccolo without Kami dying).

That'd make him more like a reptile or starfish.

Ah yeah, forgot about the "only drink water" part. I guess that could kind of link them with plants, but it's a REALLY big stretch.

Could you say they are reptiles with plant characteristics?

Actually that is one of the abilities that looks most like a plant. You can compare Piccolo's head with a bulb, several flowers such as tulips will simply regenerate in spring as long as the bulb remains intact, which is somewhat similar with Piccolo on the other hand if you cut off a newt's head it will die.

Interesting. But then again, we've never seen a Namekian regenerate anything but an arm. Cell has, but he's an android so who knows what sort of modifications were done to him.

He did, albeit off screen. During the Buu saga when Trunks knocked down his statue and we see it shattering pretty badly. When they turned back to normal and Trunks asked him how come he was in one piece he said that as long as his head is unharmed he can regenerate.

Seen the episode, same pace as last week although the fillers didn't annoy me as much as last week. They've changed the eye catch featuring Bulma, Kuririn and Kaio-sama.
Next week, as correctly predicted by Blackbeard D. Kuma, Goku will reach the end of snake way.

From now on, if anyone asks what the difference is between the original series and Kai, we can just tell them how many episodes Goku spent on snake way.

If i remember correctly, Goku reached the end of snake way at episode 18. Quite the difference.

Oh, I wouldn't speak too soon here... We've still got the "five minutes" on Namek, which I believe is pretty much THE example people use when complaining about Dragonball Z's pacing.
