You have to skip the first few mins, you will see the subs after a while ... hopefully they will release a v2 tomorrow (today here ).
The mkv hasn't got that problem and it is watchable

Such a lovable second episode. The jokes are just so splendid to see --- i could rewatch this episode a few times this week with ease. I'm happy to see Sawashiro Miyuki in another role this season.

Nagi avatars are needed in this thread.

So the MKV version is A-OK, just a glitch with the AVI version.

Good, looking forward to this second ep.

Episode 2 was good. Nagi is funny as always, and we got some Nagi thigh fanservice. Tsugumi is meh so far. Poor kitties.

1. When Nagi is pointing and laughing over her small chest.

2. When she comments about the noodles pun.

3. Various moments during the OP. I personally think the parts where she says "dane" with the hand movements are really cute, along with babyface and driving.

Thanks!

The more I watch Kannagi, the more Nagi reminds me of Kana Minami from Minami-ke. Anyone else agree?

Well that was quite a splendid suprise...Not that I hated the first episode or anything, but I enjoyed this one a great deal more. Our two leads are developing great chemistry and Nagi is becoming one helluva enjoyable character...

Not so sure about employing that age old "Childhood friend who has a crush but he never notices" bit, but meh...So many other wonderful things to take from this episode it doesn't even really matter a whole lot in the end...

Is there a larger significance to Jin's band-aid that I'm missing, or is that a "stay tuned" thing - or just a sight gag?

I love the editing style of this - almost like an unusually cut live-action film. The iris wipes really make me LOL, for some reason - like something from old Looney Tunes shorts, you almost never see them in anime.

Yes I felt the need to show support...Maybe if I actually get in the mood I'll make a proper one and not a 5 second PS cutout...

I was wondering about the bandaid too, but I was kinda fearful I'd get some huge spoiler that I wouldn't be able to resist clicking if I tried digging too hard...With my luck though it's probably something silly like he walked into a wall or something...

Delightful show, wonderful cast, thoroughly enjoyable so far.

For a relative newcomer Tomatsu Haruka's performance has been quite impressive.

Hopefully they can keep this up till the end.

Still shots of Nagi really don't do her justice. With her character, its a lot about the movement that makes her pretty. Be interesting to see if avvie creators can catch her properly.

"Don't tell me if you collect seven of these...!"

Somebody's been watching Dragonball Z.

This is one very promising show. I'm keeping this on my watchlist.

EDIT: And did I mention how freakin' catchy the OP is? Definitely going to be one of my favourite OP songs around.

I enjoyed the episode and it did not feel short at all. The Sharapova reference was priceless, but unfortunately she forgot to grunt so she failed to imitate . Dragonball reference was also funny. This series is definitely going to be followed to the end. My only quarrel so far really is that I've seen this model of a series so many times in series already. I get a lot of Shana vibes from this, but I hope it turns out a lot better.

eh.. it's nothing like shana.... except for the harem aspect of the show and being high schoolers which isn't exactly unique shana traits...

More like wagaya sama and spice and wolf than shana...

Anyone notices when Nagi decided to switch to her defense mechanism, she is becoming very human like? Her eyes suddenly becomes very human when Jin asked questions that goddess alter ego of Nagi deemed not worthy to answer. It does seem to suggest she did have split personality, one is Nagi the girl and another one Nagi the Goddess.
