(L+CR) Nisekoi Season 2

Well from start to finish its a very Nisekoi-ish episode. Funny to be certain but thats about it. The opening is very much like the rest of the show. it has its moments but it needs more.

from the episode title i hope shaft doesnt plan on trying to format the rest of the episodes like they did with the ova. if they do i can see them getting passed the fillers and such.

edit: tbh i dont mind it, it makes it fun i guess. i guess even shaft recognized that nothing happens in these chapters. so far im enjoy it

The main and most important thing SHAFT got right with this adaptation. The faces look like they were pulled from the manga and even the original scenes look almost like they might have been illustrated by Komi Naoshi himself:

Was not sure if I should watch this after already reading the less than eventful manga chapters it will probably adapt but I'm glad I did.

That opening was ridiculously awesome or awesomely ridiculous. I like how heavily it features Haru who is probably my favorite girl even though she has no chance in hell to actually "win".

Anyways it was a good episode, too bad the manga has soured me when it comes to this series.

This series would be over already if they did the more realistic thing. That is, if Ruri tells Onodera Kosaki that Raku likes her, or if Shuu tells Raku about Kosaki. It is so simple and very practical to do, but alas, they must extend the story will all this drama.

The show is entertaining, but the constant emphasis on Chitoge is the least entertaining for me. She might be a fun character for the author to write about, but I have very little sympathy towards her, and it seems like the author is forcing her down our throats. I find almost any episode that emphasizes on any of the other girls more entertaining and endearing... well, besides Marika sometimes, who is a little too forceful and over the top for my taste.

Hopefully, this season will be a little more diverse.

Look the problem is very simple, no communication. Seriously that's it, no one really talks with someone and tells them their feelings, they all evade them and keep it bottled up and create unneeded drama when just communicating can create it's own kind of drama but less frustrating (this can be applied to every show/series/book/etc you can think of).

Onodera could have been his girlfriend if she told him but she is too busy shooting herself in the foot while Ruri keeps forcing her to do something she needs to do herself, Chitoge could have found out his true feelings and then worked torwards the goal of changing his mind about her if she asked, Marika could have a chance if she was honest about their past and told them about it, Tsugumi could also have a chance if she was honest with her self and let Chitoge know she also likes Raku (pretty sure she would understand, it would be difficult too process for her but she still would understand), Raku could have made Onodera his girlfriend and wouldn't be in the position he is in if he had confessed or talked about it with his father, etc.

Things is stuff have to be overly complicated for the comedy and drama to take place, when a different and possibly more interesting kind of development would have happened if they had actually communicated with each other.

Not that it matters, we are all just along for the ride and we decide when our stop has arrived, if we want to stick around then we have to let the author take the drivers seat and take us on this convoluted ride to the ending.

Now if only they stopped cutting out the Tsugumi chapters in the anime, seriously it pissed me off in the first season at least this season has a chance of giving her more screentime (hopefully). Seriously she is best girl, I'll fight any of you on this.

Onodera- She confesses raku responds she likes him too.... series over pointless
Chitoge- She confesses raku denies her (because he's too into onodera)... likely gang war begins because the secret would be exposed.
Marika- Well she has confessed and been denied.

They need this pointless drama to keep the series going this romantic tension is one of the few things

By the way as for your Best girl Tsugumi tidbit she's more hopeless then chitoge and dera combined because ITS OBVIOUS she likes Raku but she's gotta respect chitoge's relationship which is fake and the fact she hasnt figured that out is one of the great stupidities of the series. She isnt the best girl but she may be the most attractive.

I don't see how the author is shoving Chitoge down the audience's throats. She is the main girl, so she gets main character treatment. Just because you don't like her doesn't mean that the author is doing something objectively wrong.

The problem isnt that she's being shoved down our throats its that Chitoge is utterly hopeless.The fact remains that we're being told they're supposed to fake a relationship which is foolish. Plus if you compare the interactions between chitoge and raku and Onodera and raku its clear that Chitoge is fighitng a losing battle.

How do you know that the series would end? How do you know that they would even act on their feelings and get together? So far Onodera has been pushed by others (specially Ruri) to get close to Raku instead of acting out of her own volition.

How do you know it wouldn't just be a different (less convoluted) route to where things are? How do you know Raku's feelings won't change? He still would need to get close to Chitoge and get to know her better, their past still exists, he would still need to get to know the other girls as time goes by, he would still do what he did during the camping trip, he would still do what he did in Romeo and Juliet arc, etc.

If anything they would just blush more than they already do, Ruri would still be trying to force her to go on a date with Raku, he would still be getting nervous around her, Shuu would still be trolling, etc.

Anyways I'm still trying to figure out why they even like the a-hole and his back-handed comments/compliments.

If you notice I never said anything about her ending up with Raku, that's your mistake right there go back and read my comment, besides I still think there is more to her than just being Chitoges supporter, she keeps getting shown as one of the main girls (why?) And the there's the whole thing about her mysterious past among other things revealed about her, never count a character out of the story if the story hasn't ended (Again, not saying she'll end up with Raku but that she might be crucial to the story much later on).

He is a Onodera fan, so Chitoge is a big threat to his ship, he is consistent I'll give him that.

I'm just not a fan of Chikoge character myself, some times I enjoy love hate type relationships if the girl Hermonie in that type of pairing is written well. In my opinion i find it hard to root for her with him, since the series started I didn't like the way she treated him.

This show I support the one he's had a crush on since before Chikoge came into the picture, if only she'd confess than every thing would be fine :P

One part of me is hoping that Raku ends up with nobody. His level of denseness and flopping needs to get punished.
