n a time before the White Devil, the Great Age of the Aces, and before Earth was known as the seat of the most powerful mage in all of the TSAB, there were squads. I think it sounds pretty interesting and it would unlock a big character "gallery" with OC's.
Returning home is not the right way to describe it, but as you stand on the bridge of the Star Destroyer, a wave of nostalgia does hit you. The same view of a planet viewed from outer space, the same bridge with its lowered areas, where people are still buzzing around wildly handling the large ship. As you look up from the crew area, you are greeted by a familiar face.
"Yo!" Keroko greets you. "Welcome back, it has been a while hasn't it? I know I promised I'd continue this before, but between school, work, and graduation it kinda got lost. For the new readers, welcome on board! You are now on my special spot on the bridge of my own little dimensional ship, I like to call this place 'Keroko's corner.' In here, I will be giving you hints on how to progress in this story called 'Raising Heart' a dating sim staring the one and only Takamachi Nanoha. In the case of a Bad End, I will be here to tell you where you went wrong, and send you back to do it again.
Now, how about we do a little re-capturing of the events before we continue on?
When we left of, Nanoha had just transferred to a new school, and had made a few friends around class. However, the next day she was struck with realization that her family had now moved away to a different country while she had remained, and was struck with homesickness. Fate was willing to help, but Nanoha being Nanoha, she wormed her way around, not wanting to worry her friend too much. Later on she remembered she had recieved an invite from Hayate to come over and eat when she wanted to, the choices represented were as followed:
A.) I’ll go buy ingredients and cook myself a nice meal.
B.) … Hayate practically invited me over tonight; I... don't know if I want to, but I can’t really decline, can I?
C.) A meal at Hayate’s place sounds nice, she did invite me.
D.) I’m going to take a nice stroll through town, and order some takeout at the end of the day.
The winning option last time was B, but since we have a lot of new readers, I'm initiating a re-vote. Remember, in Raising Heart every single character that ever appeared in Nanoha is a possible pairing. You just have to find them. Make your choices bold, size 5, and red for easy counting." Keroko grins and salutes before turning around. After a few paces though, she stops and turns around.
"Oh, before I forget, for the new readers, Fate is the only exception to the 'all characters' rule. I wanted to write a Dating Sim story in which there truly was a diversity of choices, if Fate was an option, I think the result would have been clear from the start, and writing a story like this knowing that it will end up as NanoFate would be boring. So apart from Fate, go wild! If you want a Nanoha/Carim, or even a Nanoha/Jail, go hunt for them. The only limits to the pairings is your imagination."
i go for A
are thinking of writng a story about dating? well i have an idea for you?

It's an interactive dating simulation fanfic. I did the same thing with my "Lyrical Days" :3 Though Keroko has Nanoha as a main character and I had Yuuno.

i read that but in dating i have something more action and lets say spice the things a little bit.
so lets say that NanoFate dating or NanoYunno etc, what if we need to pull out something no one do it in Nanoha fan fiction.
A screen popped up in front of us to display the captain of the ship we were currently on. The two of us saluted him and were told to head to the teleportation area to prepare for dispatch. Syn nodded at me and together we made our way.
The first thing I noticed when we appeared on the planet beneath us was the screaming. Several people were running around, orders were being barked out, and an explosion made us both look up to the sky. "Syn!" She nodded at me and we took to the air immediately. "Falling Soul! SET UP!"
I heard Syn call out to her device but I was too busy slashing the mage in front of me. My hand pushed out and the shock of my attack gave me the few seconds needed to power the blast that scattered the degrees in the air. The two air mages were shot back and I followed them.
Several arrows of energy landed around me and I twisted and turned, cutting through the people in my way. My device quickly told me who was friend and who was foe and after a while, I recognized their types of standard jackets so I could fight more freely.
Several more arrows blazed around me and people behind me fell to them. My glaive saved someone's life next to me and I twirled around, dodgeing a blast and charging my own. "Clear the path!" I screamed out, maknig several people turn and look at me in shock. "NOW!" My words made the people on my side retreat quickly and I smirked at the shocked faces of the people advancing as arrows rained on them from above. When their attention was diverted I released my blast and loaded a cartridge to make it more powerful.
Screams of 'retreat' came shortly but Syn and I continued to fire at them from long range, more for flare than actually meaning to do much damage. Afterall, we were there as a morale boost. Might as well show them what we're made of!
After we stopped, Syn joined me on the ground and together we walked toward the base that was looking at us in awe. Two twelve year old girls had just saved their lives and I was sure that we looked a lot more powerful than what they had imagined when they begged for help to Hayate. "Hello," I greeted them.
Syn saluted. "Team Sky, sent by Mobile Force Six. We are your back-up."
Silence came before us for a full five seconds before a sudden roaring of cheers followed. Syn and I were surrounded and our hands were shook repeatedly by several people. Names blurred around me, but I couldn't help but feel a swelling of pride in my chest. 'So this is what Mama goes through every mission...?I smiled brightly and stated my name a few times, blushing when I was quickly hit on. I wonder what they would think if they knew I wasn't even a teenager yet... My blue haired friend bumped against me and grinned, tapping her fist to mine in a congratulations for a job well done.
"So you are the mages." A voice made everyone calm down at once and a man walked forward through the splitting crowd. Several medals decorated his chest and his rank was several above mine, making both me and my partner salute him instantly.
"Sir!" Syn stated with a pleased tone in her voice. "We fought back the enemy."
"Tell me, private," He stood in front of us and frowned darkly. "What was your mission?"
Syn blinked twice before answering, a little unsure of why she was getting a death glare. "To-to come help you, sir."
"You!" He snapped, making Syn flinch. "Were supposed to report to me immediatly upon arrival! You were not to fight here, you were to use your flight magic to aid the caravan bringing us our supplies! Did you do that, soldier!?"
Syn looked shocked, and her hand twitched, trying not to wipe the spit off her face. "N-no sir..."
"Thanks to you two not following orders," he glared at me as well and I felt the glare go into my chest. "Our supplies were overran and taken."
I felt a deathly still air surround us as the news came. Several soldiers started cussing to themselves while others walked away to either sit down or kick something in anger. The one in charge continued his talking, making me realize exactly what the situation was. "We have no food, no water, and are almost out of ammunition for our devices."
I opened my mouth to reply but Syn was quicker than me. "Sir, we can fly to-" to her shock, as well as mine, Syn was slapped hard. Her face ripped to the side but quickly came back, eyes glaring hard as a trickle of blood went from her cracked lip.
"If it were that simple we wouldn't be in this problem!" Her yelled at her, nose touching hers. With no other reply, he turned and walked away, muttering. "What the hell were they thinking, sending me kids?"
I quickly moved to Syn to inspect the damage but found her not willing to allow me to in front of everyone. "What's his problem?" She asked me, annoyed.
The reply came from a man still standing next to us. A brown haired soldier that I realized was the same one I saved from an attack earlier spoke to us with a depressed tone in his voice. "They have us on lock-down here. Now that they know we have flying mages, they should have already secured the skies. If you flew up, you would be shot down within seconds."
"I can teleport," Syn stated.
"Can you transport multiple objects?"
My friend's face fell so I picked up. "Can you not get more and have us guard it?"
"Supplied are already limited... It'll take a while before any more can be spared to us." He gave us a light smile and waved before walking away himself, pausing to point to a tent not too far off. "You two are stationed in that tent there."
I knew some planets were under developed compared to what I was used to, but this was the first time to have ever experianced it. I had just assumed that if they wanted something, it could be teleported to them via a transporter. I never once thought that people would have to rely on trucks or helicopters...
"This bites," Syn sighed out. "Our first mission and we already screwed up."
"Don't worry, we'll think of something..." I glanced over at her and slowly took her hand to pull her to our temporary shelter. Our tent was nothing more that something to keep the weather off of us and offer some shade it seemed. It was small, had nothing in it, and was quite bleak.
"We have our supplies," Syn whispered to me she she tossed in our two backpacks. Sleeping bags were put on the ground and we took a small inventory. Standard field rations, a small medical kit, cartridges, a single change of clothes, and nutrient bars filled one pocket. I hated those things, but I knew that if it came down to it, I would be thankful they were there.
"We need to do something," I stated the obvious. "We won't get back up until a few days."
Syn fell on her sleepingbag and put her hands behind her head, looking up at the ceiling. "You know, Vi?"
"Huh?"
"I thought it would be different." Her tone changed and I sat beside her to listen. "Mom always told me stories about other planets, like how the food was so differnt to ours, how the people acted strangely, how sometimes they were greeted like heroes..." She licked her lips and frowned when her cut was moistened.
"No point in thinking about that now, right? Let's plan our next battle?"
"Hayate told us not to engage."
"We already screwed that one up, huh?" I grinned down at her and she slowly smiled back.
"Yeah. It's not too late! Let's make up for messing up and show them that we're capable of this!"

In hopes that JC will release another installment of Landscaper!Fate, I wrote up another Richgirl!Nanoha short.
For the new people here, "Richgirl!Nanoha" is a small dedication short series to JunkedCat's "Landscaper!Fate". You should read it, it's great. You can find the link on the second post, first page here.
Spoiler for Richgirl!Nanoha:
"Why? Did I agree to let you do this?"
Fate's voice was obviously bored but I was having too much fun to mind. She had promised me that if she let me do this then I would go out with her again on the town. I personally think I got the better end of both deals, as I got out of the house and was able to put fake nails on Fate's hands. "Because," I answered her question simply. "Isn't this fun?"
"Having my nails filed down to nothing isn't really my idea of fun." Fate frowned and looked at her left hand, which I had done first. Each nail was extremely short and her right hand was getting that way as well.
"They will be pretty." I blew on her hand and smiled in satisfaction. "There, now we just need to glue them on."
"Wait, glue?" She blinked at me.
"Of course, silly, how else would they stay on?"
"I dunno," Fate had apparently never thought about it before. "I just...thought they clipped on or something- hey don't laugh!"
"Sorry," I giggled a little as I dabbed her nails. "Don't move." I gently lined up the press on to her fingernail and pushed it down firmly once I was sure of it's position. Fate looked at the addition to her hand and from what I could tell, actually seemed to like it. "See? It's really short, but it looks nice." I had chosen a simple pair for her. Nothing long or weird looking, but a simple cover to her bitten and scratched nails that even seemed to be a little dark thanks to whatever chemicals she always touches.
"It's...not bad." Fate gave me her hand back and I took it, dabbing on some glue onto the next one. "Though, I just really like holding your hand."
I felt my cheeks color and decided not to reply. Instead, I smiled lightly and pressed on the nail, glancing up embarrassedly.
~**~
Fate sighed and wiped the sweat from her forehead. "Finally! I hate this stupid plot of land!"
"Watch you mouth," Chrono warned her lightly. "We don't need anyone hearing how much of a pain in the ass this area is."
The blond smirked at her friend and caught a drink thrown at her. One glove was removed, drink swapped hands, and the other followed suit. As she walked to the truck with her partner and new guy, she tripped when reaching to the door and grabbed a hold of the handle to keep from falling over. A small click was heard and she felt a weird sensation on her fingertip. Looking at it, she frowned. "Dammit, I broke a nail."
A crash was heard behind her and when she looked, both males were looking at her in shock. Chrono was even pointing at her pink fingernails with his mouth hanging open. Fate growled and opened the door hard, smacking him in the face. "Not a mother #*@^$)% word."
Hahaha, nice one. But really, the lack of Landscaper!Fate is saddening. T_T

Dear Mom and Dad,
Cheers from Camp Wannamage! Today, I was finally awake and rested (unlike Tia) after a wonderful night’s rest and a pot of “camp coffee.” It’s a vile brown mixture that is either a very strong tea or a very weak coffee. It tastes the way a soiled diaper smells if that makes any sense, but if you can gag it down, it has enough caffeine to give you the shakes for the rest of the day. The drawback is that while you may have energy, you spend it looking for a toilet for the rest of the day. It’s like my bladder has been magically reduced to the size of a pea.
Got to spend the afternoon with the some of the male councilors from the “other” side of the camp. Interesting group, and, by interesting, I mean hot. The camper cabin I was assigned to was teamed up with the other Cabin Four for outdoor recreation today. They played co-ed “Capture the Flag” with Zafira and Vita supervising. I chose to hang out with Boy Cabin Four’s councilor, Chrono, instead. He’s the director’s son. Nice guy but very serious and doesn’t take a joke too well. Especially not a joke from Falling Soul who decided that it would be “hilarious” to upload porn onto Chrono’s intelligent device. One of the other guys, Griffith, came by to ask Chrono for specific coordinates for some waterfall that he was taking his cabin hiking to. Chrono went to transfer the data by his intelligent device and what pops up on Griffiith’s map display? Boobs! Normal boobs? Of course, not! That’s just not Falling Soul’s way! Now, grandma boobs are another story. They “flashed” on the map, and Griffith started laughing at Chrono who then glared at me. I at first didn’t have a clue as to what was going on till Falling Soul starting laughing. So, if you get a call from the director later, just know that it’s your fault for cheaping out and getting me a used device.
While breakfast was normal (sort of: The Scagliettis laugh at random things, and if you turn down the coleslaw, Precia starts shouting that she has always hated you. Just weird people), dinner was not. The potato on my plate didn’t move this time, but when I was trying to butter my cornbread, the yellow square sprouted tiny arms and stole my butter knife. I let it go after it took a few swipes at me, and it ran out of door on tiny legs. I could swear that I heard Jail shout “success!” But did anyone else see this but me, no. So now my cabin thinks that I’m crazy or on drugs.
As for my cabin-mates, I got to talk with Hayate at length today. She’s super nice. She and Nanoha know each other, because they go to the same school on UAP 97. She said that Nanoha is pretty shy around new people, and that I should give her a chance to get used to the place. Then, she got this really odd expression and muttered something like, “But when Nanoha decides to ‘befriend’ you….” Not sure what that’s all about, and I’m not quite certain that I want to find out! We played Uno while Tia passed out and Subaru went out for patrol. Fate said that we should do strip Uno, but when all of us went silent and stared at her, she got real red and stared at her cards. I wonder about that one. She’s blond with really pretty red eyes, but I keep catching her staring at Nanoha. Like at lunch today, Fate and Nanoha were assigned to hand out the ketchup and mustard packets for the kids’ hot dogs. Fate dropped a mustard packet, and Nanoha bent down to pick it up for her. When she leaned over, everyone got an eyeful of Nanoha’s pink thong sticking out above her shorts. After that, Fate turned into the “Mr. Tumnus” of condiments dropping the packets everywhere!
All my love,
Shiny Sword
P.S. It’s 2 am, and I’m up again. I heard a tapping at my window, and I’m scared that it may be the cornbread! Get me out of here!
The cornbread... This is just getting better and better!

Wow, Syn and Vivio really messed up this time, although they had the best of intentions. Which seems like the best part of the story so far. xD
@Keroko: D
It ought to be interesting to see what happens, who she meets when she just goes around walking through town. Hayate can wait and her house is probably not going anywhere.
My entire collection of character drabbles are up on FF.net, along with one extra piece that I wrote up to close everything off. You can find it all here:
And here's a small teaser from a longer story that I hope to write .
Spoiler:
The gentle sunset touched his face, illuminating his handsome features with a dazzling glow. His sparkling eyes gazed fondly into hers as he leaned in closer, his hand rising slowly to her face. She gasped slightly in anticipation before his smooth skin lightly grazed her silk-like hair, softly caressing her locks. Closing her eyes and shuddering, she felt him move closer, whispering sweet honey words into her ears.
“Ever since I saw you I was entranced. Your very presence leaves my knees weak; your simplest words make my heart race. I couldn’t stand a life that didn’t include you. Suzuka, there’s something I have to tell you.”
Her heart was pounding in her chest, his every word filling her soul.
“…WAKE UP!”
The girl was unceremoniously woken as her bed covers were dragged from the mattress, carrying her with them. Groggily she rubbed her head before slowly opening her eyes, looking up to whoever had decided to act as her alarm clock. She regretted that instantly, however, as she was met with a very irritated looking Arisa who seemed convinced that glaring daggers could, in fact, kill.
“Mou, Suzuka! I knew it; you stayed up late reading those trashy romance novels again!”
Four friends from the past. Two now weave their trails in the sky, but in the life that was left behind two continue on. This is their story.
Location: In the Netherrealm, thinking who to betray next...
