This was an interesting episode.
Kaito was all down.
Even that latest puzzle didn't bring out his usual fire.
After what happened in the previous episode it's no wonder some of them have become scared of him.

Well, it's sad but it's not like I don't understand him... :/ After all, Kaito pretty much did a 180 degree turn ever since he met Rook again. First he left all his friends without a second thought and went to England with Rook; then when his friends came after him and saved his ass he didn't even seem grateful; and ever since then he keeps moping and distancing himself from everyone, and he barely communicates with anyone else. It's Rook this, Rook that, Rook, Rook, Rook all the time (sounds like the call of some bird

). Kaito changed a lot, and it seems Ana, Cubic and Gammon all think they can't reach him anymore.

I really hope Kaito snaps out of this soon... :/

Nonoha solved a puzzle! Wonder why the armband is glowing black. I don't remember it being black even when Kaito couldn't even touch a puzzle. Though this looks worse than that. Oh man Elena admitted she likes Gyamon. Too bad he changed. Interesting that she noticed Kaito change as well. She even told Nonoha to stay away from Kaito. Still don't think Nonoha will leave him though.

Come to think of it the King's prophecy in Yuusha no Densetsu was just as bad, sadly the foreshadowing only came after the fact.

Just watched Epidode 19.

Well...I must say, Nonoha's act as a witch was spot on

But must it always be her sweets that snaps Kaito out of the state he's in?

Just wish it would be something more serious.

I loved how amazed Nonoha was when she solved that puzzle by accident XD Also, just what is going on with Kaito's Orpheus armband? Also, Gammon is going crazy XD

Like what? I think he'd still give her the cold shoulder even if she were to strip completely naked.

I think it's the aftershock of everything that has been revealed to him thus far.
1. His best friend has become one of the highest-ranked members of the POG (Rook),
2. His parents weren't his biological parents, but mere puppets working for the POG and even though he shouldn't care all that much, their deaths still scarred him,
3. His other friends either ignore him (Cubic, Ana) or stab him in the back (Gammon).

And the POG is trying hard to pry Nonoha away from Kaito as well. If he keeps ignoring her, they'll probably succeed. However, I think the puzzle Elena gave Nonoha is of big importance to getting Kaito back to his former self.

Can't say I blame him, though. Face it, Kaito has everything going for him: he can pretty much solve any puzzle (usually with help from the Orpheus bracelet), he has friends that care about him, and a cute girl who hardly ever leaves his side (whose love for Kaito remains unrequited for the time being). Gammon already made it clear a while ago that he's mostly interesting in the money that puzzle-solving could give him. The only people he sees to care about are his sister and Nonoha.

And all the while, we still don't know who the real Big Bad of the POG is, even though I have a strong hunch it's Jin.

The motorcycle lane puzzle was pretty interesting.
Looks like Gyamon kinda lost it... he turned into a monster.

I really am enjoying phi brain more and more with each episode.Kind of started as a guilty pleasure watch but now I genuinely look forward to the new episodes each week.

Jin and the principal actualy being involved with POG looks more and more likely,talk about a huge conspiracy!

What I find interesting is that we've got a S2 coming,I mean looking at the way this arc is going you'd think there would nothing left to tell after the puzzle of god is solved....unless ir's going to take 20 episodes to solve it

I will never hate Gammon! You can turn him evil and make him shout and the beloved Nonoha and try to kill Kaito, but I shall never hate such a good character!

Oh, and once again, Gammon's sister is super cute.

And those visions that Kaito keeps seeing, yikes.

His sister is so cute, he seems to be a great brother to her. Also, Elena let it slip that she was (or still is? ) in love with him. AAAAAAAWWWW. I hope they'll get together! After this episode it seems certain that Gammon will be the penultimate boss that Kaito has to defeat in order to get to Rook. Hmm. Nonoha and her evil plan XDD oh Nonoha, sometimes food is not everything! It's funny though that she seems to have realized the effect her sweets have on him. XD But even Elena is telling her to leave Kaito... :/ I hope she won't. Then again I'm pretty sure she'll be Rook's final trump card. Fight, Nonoha!! >_<) I wonder what's going on with Kaito and Orpheus' armband. Maybe it's overloading again?

Spoiler for ep 20: So Gammon is officially off the deep end... his jealousy has turned him unreasonable and power-hungry. Too bad he's just another pawn in Rook's game. Well, not "too" bad, I guess, at least this way he can repent and get back to being a good guy after this all ends. Poor Elena, though, at least she seems to be taking it in stride. Poor Nonoha, too. She's doing everything she can (also taking care of Gammon's sister - he'd better thank her later!) but apparently Kaito is really out of reach... going by the preview apparently she'll finally be able to accomplish something next episode. I can't wait~ And more teasing with Jin and visions of the future. Hmmmm.

Congratulations, Nonona, you saved Kaito! and apparently Kaito is not entirely indifferent toward her... GO NONOHA! FIGHT NONOHA! Rook's left eye - yep, called it way, waaay back. Then again, it was kind of obvious. I wonder what's up with Jin, though. Is he really Count Pythagoras? If he is, is it because he really wanted to be or is he just Rook's pawn? He seems to be a vegetable but he can still play chess which means - he's what Kaito is fated to become if his brain overloads and goes into ONLY PUZZLES FOREVER mode? I guess we'll find out next time. And I still think Jin is Kaito's real dad. Also, we had some great new music again.
