Hi, I'm trying to burn a vcd so I can watch episodes on my tv instead of sitting in front of the computer. The problem is, when I watch them off the tv, the subtitles are so low that I can barely read them. Does anyone know how to encode these properly, preferably with TMPGenc. What aspect ratio works best for the best picture but fits for the tv? Please and thanks?

I think that you should be able to find your answer in VCD Creation. I'll spare you the "you should have searched for your answer" lecture because VCD is only 3 letters and it is hard to think of distinctive 4 letter words to use for that search.
