I was hoping for a series kind of like season one of Nanoah. You know, focusing on the main character *GASP!* and following her as she tries to figure out why her enimies are doing what they're doing. Near the middlish they would reveal why they're doing what they are, and Vivio would try her best to make friends with her during some climatic scene or battle, leading to a satisfying ending where Vivio accomplished her goal, saved some poor girl's life, and now understand how important friendship is, you know what Nanoha was originally about. Instead we get a plot focusing on the numbers. But that's to be expected, sicne StrikerS was all about Subaru and the numbers anyway. I probably won't even read anymore honestly, this series sucks worse than StrikerS and that's pretty dang bad in my book. T_T Sorry, I ranted there >.< no offense meant to those who like the series. I guess I'm just bitter in my old age XDDD

By focusing on the numbers, you must mean the one number, Nove.
Also, the original series had almost a dozen characters, so this should do fine. There's nothing wrong with some of them being from strikers given the development of events. Also the development we speak of is a random chapter, not novels devoted to a character, heh. Besides that, I was thinking, if this series is anything like 'romance of the three kingdoms' there is an anime for said title out this season. might be worth watching to get up to speed on the plot line.

I for one relish the Nove development. The Numbers barely got anything you can count as development in StrikerS, while Vivid gives a perfect setting to flesh them out more. Not to mention that Nove is, y'know, Vivio's teacher, and therefore an important character in Vivio's story.
I'm glad that this manga doesn't become another season 1. Don't get me wrong, I love Vivio and any screentime she gets is appreciated, but I found season 1 to be a slugging match. Hard to get through, and when you're done you're wondering if it was worth the effort. Vivid so far seems to follow the course of A's. It introduces the characters fast, explains their motivation fast, and focuses on all of them. Variety, as I always say, is the spice of life. Last edited by Keroko; 2009-10-05 at 14:23. |

EDIT: At the end of the chapter Vivio mentions Lutecia. It'll be nice to see Lulu getting more screentime as well. |

Like I said I'm just bitter :3 But then again, that's why I write.
I think the main thing with me is seeing: Quote:

Apparently one sound stage is crucial because Ix(Ixxy? whatever her name is) is suddenly an important person and I have absolutely no clue who she is. T_T Do I just need SSX I think? does that give detail on who these people are?
