Anyway I do think Nagato body's is human. But I do think it does not matter whether that body is alive or dead. All Nagato needs is a container physically exist. Even if her head is cut off, her body will die, but then Nagato still remains in the container(body) and simply regenerates the head later. Thats why the only way to truly kill them is to totaly destroy the container, preventing nagato from existing physically. They are just like ghosts possessing a body, it does not matter the body is dead or alive.

This is now the longest episode discussion thread.
Woops! I was chatting on the MSN while going on this forum and asking my mother about the recipe and got confused...I didn't meant to post it up... Is peanuts really better than green beans or it's just your preference? Doesn't matter...I'll take your advice and try both... EDIT: thanks C.A. for reminding of my typo. "This is now the longest episode discussion thread" not "This is not the longest episode discussion thread." Last edited by iamandragon; 2006-06-09 at 16:11. |

You mean 'This is now the longest episode discussion thread'? lol!
Good job everyone! We will now work with the future episode discussions to be even longer! For the discussion on damaging the bodies of Data Entities. If they can manipulate data in various dimensions, maybe they can also damage data in various dimensions. Ryoko's spears may be able to damage beyond 3 dimensions? Not sure why but a random verse just came to my mind, I'm not even Christian lol "...a sword shall pierce through thy own soul..."

Well, since Data Entities are expressionless, we don't know if Yuki was bothered by the attack or not. The physical body took damage though. Yuki did use a multidimensional attack though, since Ryoko kicked the backet Yuki recovered pretty fast, so I doubt the attack had any damage. Although we don't know if this is due to Ryoko not producing a multidimensional weapon or Yuki being far superior to Ryoko, so she could restore lost data pretty easily.

Guess the key to Yukis Body beeing immune to the impacts were her preparations she made before entering...
So maybe it just looked like she was serious wounded but the program in the background "deleted" some data of the attack to make it really weak or something! Edit : As I knew ^^ Spoiler for for image:

Yes, Yuki buffed herself before the battle.
Besides 'Touch of Death' which I mentioned several pages back, she probably also has: Mana(Data) Shield Haste HP Regen Apparently data exists in forms of HP and MP. Somehow AS forums are kinda quiet, nothing worse than a boring saturday morning. I wonder how Haruhi spends her weekends without SOS dan activities.

Well I wanted to guess, but since this is the internet and there's no such thing as guessing when you have search engines lol
World Cup started already? I don't know when its starting lol Attempt to restart the thread engine: Anyone else had watery eyes themselves when you watch(or rewatched) the part where Asahina-san had watery eyes? Also I think its around 34+ hours to the next Haruhi episode

Since they have alternate virtual worlds that are basically extremely complex programs where everything exists as data. In The Matrix, Neo can perform physics defying feats because he can sort of freely manipulate the data in the Matrix. Sounds like The Data Entities and Haruhi. The Back Doors in The Matrix also reminds me of time travelling and dimensional hopping. Though the Back Doors can only bring you around the Matrix.

Actually, there are physics theories utilizing information theory that describe "reality" as simply an information field that could be manipulated at will with the right keys.
Yuki is someone who can manipulate reality by adjusting the information field on which reality derives from.

Does this mean there's no such thing as laws? Or are there even laws for reality altering/manipulation?
I'd love to discuss such theories in the ontology thread, but its weird to start popping up there with half a discussion lol

Lineage II my friends. Hehe.
(If you want we can move all of this discussion to ontology... but anyway) We can always look at this as that there's another level of reality that has eluded humanity about matter. It has taken humanity almost all of its existence to understand that transmutation of matter is possible and the duality of matter to energy. True control of physical property of things, understanding the root of all forces, the structure of dimensions and manipulation of time are matters that are coming... best we can say is that all of this is magic for now as we haven't a firm grasp of any of these topics right now. Even now, transmutation of element is still not truly mastered. The principle behind fusion is only starting to unveal its promises. We have a long way to go just to reach maturity in the foundations to truly imitating the 'hands of God' there. We know that information is a form of entropy. whether or not if the randomness in distribution of energy can be applied onto the famous E=mc^2 though (assuming if you define reality as solid matter) is another story... Subsequently, is information absolute like how the speed of light is? If information is absolute and usable as a postulate we might be able to derive the next big thing in physics on the connection between information, energy and matter, who knows... Here's something rather interesting on energy, entropy and information... http://dieoff.org/page17.htm
