As for too much suprnatural it is KEY what the hell do you except. I have someone who tells me therei s not enough of it in Clannad as say Kanon. Then there is too much >.> yeah there are 3 arcs with it out of like 13. If it was all supernatural it would be an over kill but it isn't it is done right. |

Well, I'm fairly satisfied as to how this arc wrapped up. At first, I wasn't sure if they would be able to throw out the heavy emotional impact since half of the episode was just building up the relationship. However, they managed to execute it competently by the very end and it did touch my heartstrings just enough to make me feel pretty good.

Loved all of it, it was obvious how the cat was going to be a main point in this episode, you could see the hints from the last episode that it had to do something about the cat.
Misae got a good ending for her arc, although short. Just great in my opinion. |

Ugh, such an awesome arc, finished in mere two episodes, but I guess brevity made it that much more better. It finally felt like kyoani was in full gear, though I'm not saying I was dissatisfied with previous episodes. Let's see if this episode can break 60% for perfect rating ^^
The supernatural part didn't really bother me at all, after all, we had that for a longer time with Fuuko. But what did surprise me was the fact that yoshino was a student when ibuki was a teacher... Do we know how old the two of them are? (sorry if it was posted before; I'm writing my comment before looking at the thread) The moment of win for this episode was Shima's crossdressing scene (and this coming from something who don't like genderblending). "What... kind of relationship do you guys have?"

Katsuki Shima (in the wheelchair) and his cat. Misae's arc is beautiful, definitely the saddest episode yet. Somehow i'm worried if Fuuko will suffer the same if ever KyoAni alotted a spot for her this season. He reminded me of Fuuko when she- i mean "he" was wearing a girls uniform then suddenly Ibuki-sensei appeared next to him. Yoshino is there too.. wow the teacher-student couple eh? it was kind of sad that Yuki and Saki didn't tell Misae about their visit at Shima's house, or did they really not believe what his mother said to them. They did chase after Shima so they probably didn't get the chance to know more, then just thought that it was some kind of a bad argument between mother and son. |

Traps = win.
Plus the way it beautifully played out, this episode gets a 10 for me. But, my face would really be swollen nowadays reading the internet, if I actually facepalmed myself. People really have to stop their talking on the phone, eating or playing handhelds while watching anime. I'm really not sure how people can miss out details or the just the story itself.
