Crash, bike in flame. Shin's mom was worry about Hiromi. Not really good at understanding Japanese, but did Shin's parent officially adopt Hiromi? Last week's preview was misleading about everything.

Spoiler for episode 9 specific:

Shin's dad contradicts the previous claim by Hiromi that they are siblings. Shin's dad also back hand slap Shin to the ground prior to driving home the message.

More to come as I progress through the episode.

Spoiler for episode 9 initial thoughts:

Cool. I was right about the red shirt belonging to Shin's mom and that the undressing took place in Hiromi's room.

Hiromi's situation with Shin and his mother seems to be improving. Shin is starting to act like a man now, it's about time. I like how he brought Hiromi back from the depths of despair she was in last episode by showing how much he cared for her with that hug. The fight over Hiromi and the picture book gives Noe more food for thought.

Noe realizes Shin's true feelings with each additional act by Shin.

Another good episode. More development about time.

Surprising beginning. DAMN THOSE MISLEADING PREVIEWS! Shin hugged Hiromi right in front of Jun and Noe.....YAY!

So Shin's mom isn't so bad. She's just way over protected and has a few unstable emotional problems, but they seem to be smoothing out. She was rather nice this episode, even stood up for Hiromi and treated her nicely, she even worried for her along with Shin. Hiromi and her have finally had a real face to face talk and seems like most issues are resolved, Shin's mom even said Hiromi was their child...WOW!

Noe come to term with who really has Shin's heart. Though she's sad she accepted it, but I doubt Jun will since from the preveiw he seems to be aggressive towards Hiromi, but Hiromi is making her stand.

So, all the sibling stuff about Shin and Hiromi was a lie. Was made clear to both Shin and Hiromi.

I don't see why it was made so dramatic about Jun and Hiromi being in an accident. They acted like it was a scandal or the two broke a crime. I just don't ge tit. People get into accidents all the time.....

Look forward to more development between Shin and Hiromi, it's now their time to shine. They seem to be getting bolder about their feelings and are finally moving back in the right direction to become closer not further apart.

Nobuse and Ai going to have a talk and maybe start a relationship of new without any hidden agendas? I'm interesting in that after seeing it in the preview.

Just done watching episode 9 of True Tears

Seems like a big win for Shin x Hiromi fans...the moment Shin hug her when he saw her standing still after the bike accident really boost up my motivation by 500%.Beside the smiley face of Hiromi when she talks to Shin really relieves me alot.



Now its only up to Shin to decide whom he should go for.






As for the speculation of that red shirt....after knowing who's the person that wearing those red shirt,it made me laughed so hard,thinking how we all been discussing this so hardly in the ep 8 thread.

I guess these episode is best described as "all well ends well" eh especially for Hiromi x Shin fans.

yeah! Lol! I want to congratulate Cloudninja and a Few other who stood against the bait and sink of the preview! Those who had the same "theory" and are redeemed with this episode. Ah! Gloating gives you such a nice feeling!

So..the cake was indeed a lie , as in Hiromi is not Shin's sister.
Gotta love how the dad slapped Shin , somehow I thought that was very cool of him , that guy keeps his cool no matter what.
Question is , why did the mother told such a crazy lie ?
Jun lost his bike , lawl.
Noe realized the truth , poor Noe ;_; . She didn't cry yet though .
I don't get why Aiko left Nobuse when he's way cooler then Shin . oh well , judging from the preview , she's making a comeback next week ?
I can't help but wonder how this will end , looks like Hiromi just got the full favor now but I still am hoping for a Noe ending =/

And so, Aiko and Noe's chance of ending with Shinichirou decreases and Hiromi's rises a lot.
The Nakagami house feels a lot more peaceful now.

-They crashed because of a rabbit... ( -_-; )

-Uwah... Shinichirou hugged Hiromi in front of Noe...

-The police was there to search from Shinichirou, who had gone missing.
Shinichirou's mom called, probably.

-AND Shinichirou's dad denies the possibility that Shinichirou and Hiromi are siblings.
Well... The "siblings" things was just a lie, so Hiromi x Shinichirou full speed, it feels...

-"Scandel" thanks to the rumor about the bike ride to "somewhere" between Jun and Hiromi... Hah... Troublesome, and those sarcastic damn students that want to make fun of the situation isn't very helpful either...
Tomoyo surprisingly does more than I thought.

-Noe loses it. No, she doesn't, but it just kinds of feels... "Nice" because she ends up digging for Shinichirou's "I love Noe" message on the ground and cutting her finger.

This was a very eventful episode. Things just happened one after the other. One of the major question to this series has been answered. The episode also sets up the answers for other questions such as:

- why Shin's mom behaved toward Hiromi the way she had been through out the series?

- what role Shin's dad play that is relative to the above question?

- how Noe will come into terms and will that help to answer what she means by loosing her tears? Jun's role will become clear as well when the above question is answered.

As I've said, the episode has been very eventful. The series should race to the finish starting from episode 10 now that everything is in place. The only other character that needs a resolution is Ai herself. Episode 10 preview shows...

Ai will play a big role in the next episode, so perhaps, we will know if Nobuse has a future with Ai after all?

The one thing from the episode that has really touched me was when:

Noe touch the spot of the bandaid that is covering the side of Shin's nose. Shin, of course, reacts in pain and backs away. Noe still insists on touching it and after seeing Noe's face, Shin lets her touch it the second time.

I suppose the point of that moment was Noe's wanting for Shin to understand the pain she felt and still feeling when it became obvious to her that it's not Noe who is in Shin's heart after all. She even tells him that in her own way, and walks away.

This episode comes very close to perfection and without a doubt in my mind that this episode is the best one of the series thus far.

Remember the difference between "Nice guy" and "Good boy". Good boy will not stand up for themselve, they will defend other even to the point of fighting.

Nice guys don't take crap from nobody, Saw how those guy got stared down by Nobuse. That is the difference, a Nice guy will never be bullied and "good boy" will get bullied as long as it doesn't involved someone dear to them.

Lol. Perhaps now it's too early for ShinxHiromi and they will part after tears have been wiped away. Four more episodes. Noe went from girlfriend to ex-girlfriend in one episode.

Noe's reactions were perfect: she sees all and feels all. But I am feeling so happy for Hiromi, whose voice even has a bit of a lift in it this ep (Nazuka Kaori ftw). "And there's some ice cream in the freezer for you, darling." Lovely.

Now I am blaming the writers for that lie of Shin's mother's. That person would not actually do that, I am convinced. But others of you saw through it right away, so maybe. I am also a little perplexed by how quickly Shinmother reconciled her feelings with Hiromi. I know it's seeing the girl's desperation, but still.... And I didn't catch why she felt she wanted to tell that lie, and why she hated Hiromi's mother. Not sure if that was explained.

Can't say I'm as thrilled by this ep as others, but that's probably just feeling for Noe and Jun. Shin and Hiromi are the dangerous ones, clearly.
