Well, the obvious call for "Erin" is Seirei no Moribito. Based on books by the same author. Moribito is a shorter series (26 eps), somewhat more serious and I would argue significantly the better show.

Of those three shows, I've only seen Erin. They seem to share a common theme of being shows for children that also appeal to adults. If that's what's you're looking for you might try:
Dennou Coil Noein Mahou Shoujotai Arusu Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 The first two are science-fiction stories with young protagonists. The third is a "take" on Alice in Wonderland with a rather dark story. The last one portrays two children coping with an earthquake. It's much more a personal story than a disaster epic. If you're looking for strong young heroines like Erin, I'd also suggest Nijuu Mensou no Musume and Shion no Ou. Summer Wars (warning: spoilers) might also have some appeal.

Same.
Looking at the descriptions of the other two, for a cross between Erin and the Snow Queen you might like Wolfs Rain. Perhaps a little bit more grown up than Erin. For a cross between Erin and Uninhabited planet you might like Planetes. Both are better series than Erin was. Their stories do not disappoint at the end and dont lose their way through out. |

I'd second Seirei no Moribito & Dennou Coil.
Might also want to try Fantastic Children, though please don't mind the character design.

Uninhabited Planet Survive is like the anime version of "kids getting lost in an island, and adventure ensues". If you'd like to watch the "kids getting lost in an island, and tragedy ensues" version of the same theme you might want to watch Infinite Ryvius.
