Is this singer, Yui, the same Yui that formed the band "Rythem" along with Yuka?
What is more, is it the same Yui that wrote songs dedicated to my biggest crush, Amane Kaoru?

I don't know much about Rythem, but I'm pretty sure this Yui is not the same one.

Yes, she wrote Goodbye Days, the song in Movie: Taiyou no Uta. God I love that song.

YUI is a solo, she has never been with a band.
And like asrielchase has said, she did write that song.
One of my favorite songs from YUI. She writes really meaningful songs.

She's very cute when she sings with her eyes squinted.

Hmmm...hmm...I think this is the singer my cousin knows. But I may have the wrong girl. It's been a while since I last saw her. If it is the same girl, then I'm impressed that she sings some songs I like that I didn't know she did.
