sooo no info on angels yet . hmm i guess next arc will be about them . they too are one of leading plot elements just like devils and fallen angels. yet one wonders how is their relationship with their fallen brethen.

Also Kuroka isn't even in the top 3 of Vali's team. Vali, Arthur, Bikou, and Fenrir are definitely stronger than Kuroka.



Also so far there are at least three swordsman who are stronger than Kiba and Zenovia, and all three of them are humans. At least up to the latest volume.
1.) Un-named Swordsman from the Church. (Siegfried says how this guy can make up for the loss Church got after Zenovia and Siegfried left the Church.)
2.) Arthur Pendragon of the Vali team and has the ultimate holy-sword Coalbrand, and the last and the strongest Excalibur.
2.) Siegfried from the Hero faction of the Chaos Brigade. He is said to be one of two great swordsman of the Chaos Brigade alongside Arthur. He took on Kiba and Zenovia by himself in a swordfight and defeated them with ease. Has a Sacred Gear, 5 demonic swords and 1 holy swords.

Man this all sounds awesome so pumped to read like volume 4 onwards, Vali seems like a badass and a good rival for ise. I also really wanna see ise as a king with his own team and takes on vali's down the track in like a massive tournament? maybe the angels fallen angels and devils hold one? that would be cool.

1.) A top-class devil(king) will get 15 chess pieces. 1 queen, 2 rook, 2 bishop, 2 knight, and 8 pawns.
2.) Only Top-class devils can have them.
3.) If Rias had another mutation piece, then she only need to use 1 instead of 8.
4.) The mutation piece used on Gasper is a Bishop, so it increases his magic like normal bishop piece.
5.) In the end of volume 10 in the author's comment, author said that the last pawn piece Rias's cousin, Sairaorg, has is a mutation pawn piece.

You know how certain people consume more than 1 chess piece when they get reincarnated to a devil right? Mutation piece ignores the number of chess piece needed and can reincarnate the individual to a devil with just 1 chess piece. It's said that 1 in 10 top-class devil has mutation piece so it's really rare. Mutation piece could be any of the queen, bishop, rook, knight and pawn.

Is rias's cousin the lion man? lol is he strong?

He certainly is. He can handle Kiba, Zenovia and Rossweisse by himself without using his balance-break armour.
When he put his balance-break lion armour on, he broke through Ise's Traina's Rook with one hit and made him go in the ground. Well he could still break Ise's normal balance-break armour with just a punch.

he freaking strong.
he can easily destroy dragon armor that ise have when he using balance breaker.
even with out using the lion armor that he have.
ise almost die by him.

Yeah he changed into "Cardinal Crimson Queen". It has a crimson colour instead of the usual red.
Triania consists of "Bishop", "Knight", and "Rook".

If Sairaorg is really that damn powerfull to even beat Rook form of Triana just one hit...then Ise Queen form is unbelieveable...and add to that Ise hasn't perfected it yet...

Really curious if Ise became to a King, how powerful he is...

Well there is something that me curious about it...

About the dragon Ddraig is sealed into Ise's sacred gear right? I wonder if the maximum ability of the Gauntlet is the maximum power of the Ddraig, i means it is not possible to have any amplified power beyond the Ddraig capabilities right? But this is novel and fiction so anything can happens...

Oh yeah, Ascalon is a dragon slayer sword right? I wonder if it is a sacred gear too, if it is a sacred gear...that means Ise Gauntlet can absorp any Sacred Gear he wants...wonder if this will do something at later story.

Well the maximum power of Boosted Gear is infinite. Also Ise manages to absorb Vali's Divine Divine powers. In volume 4, Ise takes the fragments of the jewel from Divine Divine's Boosted Gear armour, and he absorbs it through his gauntlet. Doing this took lot of his lifespan. Also Ise manages to use Divine Dividing's halving ability but it takes his life away every time he uses it and it's only 1 in 10th chance that it would work.
In volume 7 when Ise goes into "juggernaut drive" Ise uses Divine dividing's ability and also Gasper's Sacred Gear ability of freezing the enemies. So somehow Ise can certainly take in others Sacred Gear's ability in cost of cutting down his lifespan.

Even if someone becomes a top-class devil they can't inherit the name of the 72 pillars because they are the names for pure devils. But pure devils from the 72 pillars may take in someone who isn't a pure devil to continue to family. Just like how Rias and her parents are trying to take in Ise.

about the skills he takes in... can he permanantly use them? if so.. thats kinda a unique ability... considering all he has to pay is a certain percentage of his life.. which koneko chan might be able to get back for him ;/

Well Koneko can replenish that lifespan right? So it will be invicible if he can keep spamming ability like that.

But wait...i haven't read it yet, could it be there is only one chance to replenish that lifespan, if that's true then Ise is in trouble...

I wonder what Ise and his lover reaction when he know that his lifespan only 100 years left before replenished it, must be a catastrophe lol

Well either way, Ashia's Balance Breaker not yet attained, basic skill of her is Twilight Healing and it will not be surprise if the Balance Breaker either replenish all the lost from a person include stamina, lifespan etc. or revive someone, somehow Basic Skill of Sacred Gear is in correspondence with Balance Breaker.
