Finished reading Witch's and Woodlands a couple days ago. It was great, enjoyed every minute of it. =D
Really makes me want to play more DnD, too. I noticed that W&W doesn't seem to have its own TvTropes article at say, http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.ph...hsandwoodlands It deserves one, imo. I'm not really that good with page editing or anything like that, I just read the site mostly, but I'd be willing to start it if nobody else is. --- For my own story, just uploaded the prologue for part 2 of my Haruhi/Umineko crossover. Jan-Poo: Witches & Woodlands was just awesome! I found your blog by chance surfing on the net, and when I started checking your website I couldn't help but download W&W right away! I was really curious. And well... I don't know if you check your blog often, but I left a comment there, about my opinion until Belphegor's trial Now that I finished reading I can truly say you made an excellent work! (I especially loved the RPG Video Game mode in Satan's trial *o*) I am hoping for more of this in the future.
As a contribution, as you said in your blog, I spread the word W&W deserves to be more famous. Regarding the riddle... I'm not good at solving this kind of things but I'll do my best! I finished with the messagio (thanks to RedKey for the accurate translation!), but then I was quite lost. I checked all of the topic and I read about the existence of "Find the key" tip, which I tried to find but nothing came up. So I checked the spoiler and saw that I had to beat Beelzebub's game without failing! Argh, I kinda feel bad for checking the answer but I was totally lost (and when that happens, the idea of getting "little spoiler hints" crosses my mind), I hope I don't have to do it again. I'll do my best. After all, if I don't try it by myself I won't get better at riddles D: I'll try beating Beelzebub's game without failing (which will probably take me a LOOONG TIME xD, I lost two consecutive times when playing the easy one). |

Ah someone who actually liked Satan's trial! That's the part that got the most criticism back when I released part 3 ^^;
It was shortened a bit in 3.5, but not that much. Spoiler for riddle for F. Velvet:

Watching Umineko being transformed into an RPG game was just out of this world! It was one of my favourite parts of all the game along with the game's finale (Erika's betrayal was a proper end). Oh, and there's something about the fight against Satan I'd like to tell you, when George uses his "Break Limit" (Final Fantasy? ), he says: "My soul burns... my power has awakened..." And I was like: "OMG those are Aeila's words when she is doing her PWS (Purify Weird Soul) in Valkyrie Profile." Did you get that from there? XD Something tells me you did, but I want to be 100% sure it isn't just a coincidence u_u I think I told you this in my blogger comment, but you really did a great job with the characters sticking to their original personalities, it was as if R07 wrote it himself!. I specially liked Erika, she was the same arrogant troll I deeply love XD ♥ Quote:

The in-battle and dungeon-crawling quips made it worth it.

You know which is the true best umineko fanfic ever?
It's this one! Not really, but it's fun if you like retarded humor. I already had the chance to read the stuff this author wrote in the past and I just noticed someone made a video of it, so I thought about telling the Umineko AS community about it.
