Anyway, it would be interesting if more people adopt the format. It seens to be a great way to exercise the characterization.

I had a talk with Kaisos a while back where I started joking around about the dynamic between Emiri and the Student Council President. He felt pretty strongly about that particular character interaction, and thinking about it today, I felt like it was worth exploring. So here's my angle on it.

I've been reading the Little Melancholy for a while now, and it's a really good look into the minds of the characters; short, concise, spot-on. Although, yeah, I got confused by the latest one too

I didn't want to leave Taniguchi off with just the stock interpretation of him as having an inferiority/judgment complex that such characters often get. Besides, I don't know that it's a convincing motive for ALL of his behavior even if you buy it as the motive for some.

Taniguchi should be the real hero. He could star in his own light novel/anime series. I'd call it...Wasuremonogatari.

To be honest, I am not a fan of the particular situation in which Kyon finds himself in this chapter - and I don't feel you gave it enough of a personal twist to make it fresh. Still, after all this time and nearly 30 chapters, your story is ending in a very high note and am eagerly waiting for the resolution. I am kind of hoping for a Distant Finale, but I also bet you've already mapped it out and, either way, it'll be great to read.
