I've yet to finish HL2 on my PC (stuck at Ravenholm, but I managed to figure out how to get out when I played the X360 version), nor have I started EP1. Portal, with its physics fun and GLaDOS' deadpan humor, was ****ing hilarious.
I'm making a note here: HUGE SUCCESS I have a friend who's obsessed with it to the point where he has "Still Alive" looping on his computer and has plans to get a plush companion cube for Christmas.

The Orange Box is a real good deal - it's probably nearly $100 total if you download them individually off of Steam (around that, at least). I loved Half-Life 2, and Portal's opened up a lot of new gameplay mechanics should it be incorporated into Episode 3.

One of the best buys of the year. Putting aside HL2 and Episode one...
Episode 2 was just phenominal, it completely captures the winning formula of the HL series, and it does so beautifully. Valve did a great job in also adding new content to the game which made it stand out even more. I don't want to spoil anything but there are some really, really fun battles that can get frustrating but at the same time are simply just amazing to play. I've never played a game which made me feel so much for such characters, except for Metal Gear Solid of course. Portal... This is what a puzzle solving game should be about. Simply loved it, worth the money and more. Team Fortress 2. As much as I say that I love Episode 2, this really makes the value of the Orange Box soar. You will spend hours and hours just playing this game, because it is soo much fun. I can only wish that there will be more maps, but at the same time, the ones that are available will last you for a while. This should win game of year, even though it s a culmination of games; it is one of the best deals in video game history, with some of the best games around on it. |

"Cant Wait Till It Comes Out For The Ps3
Man u 360 owners are lucky" The game for 360 isn't all that great because some of the servers lag and then there are not a lot of servers to choose from... none the less you can't play againts a lot of other people like 20 on 20 |

Orange Box PS3?
Been thinking about getting it for a little while now. I heard and read from various places that there are significant framerate problems for the ps3 version. Is this true for every copy, and if so, is the problem bad enough to significantly hinder the gameplay experience? Your thoughts please...

Probably the worst of the three versions according to most reviewers. Personally, this is a PC title because as it stands, it's best on it.
I'm kinda pissed off at all the changes Valve has made on TF2. They've totally nerfed the sentry gun. |
